I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and is getting ready for the year to end!!
I had to dog sit for 2 friends and 2 different locations and it had me running crazy over the holidays!

I am taking a few days off from work at the end of this week for some much needed down time!

Mary Grace is continuing to bounce. It seems anything under 200 and she bounces. Last night as we all were playing with "Da bird" wand , she actually caught it and I let go and let her have it, until I saw that she was actually trying to eat the cardboard "birds" . I am feeding her the correct amount according to her weight but she is still so hungry, trying to eat cardboard birds about broke my heart into a million pieces!!
I guess just keep with the dosecreases or should I maybe switch to Levemir?

I seriously doubt if Mary Grace was really trying to eat "Da Bird"..remember, that toy mimics hunting, so once the "prey" is killed, she's probably trying to de-feather it (un-feather? dis-feather?....LOL)

It looks to me like she's not so much bouncing off the 200's as much as she's bouncing off the big, fast drops. Your spreadsheet has quite a few quick, deep drops (over 100 points in just a couple hours). Those big drops can cause bouncing too. (China's doing this lately..Look at her spreadsheet since Christmas...she starts high, drops into the green at nadir and then pops right back up into the 300's at pre-shot times. If you compare her Pre-shot numbers to her +2 or +3 numbers, you'll see she has quick, deep drops)

I'm going to be trying to manipulate her readings by changing how I feed her soon if she doesn't stop this craziness. It might help Mary Grace too!

Oooohhh those rotten bounces! Hopefully she'll clear it quick for you and start smoothing out some more. I'm sure you have figured out the calories needed for MG, and are giving her enough. You can always double check. FF seems to have less than some of the other choices so I know with my brood I have to feed a bit more. But Chris has a great point about the defeathering (unfeathering?). Do you think she's just 'killing' her toy?
Yay to taking a break for yourself! I know you have been run completely ragged this season, and definitely have earned a break!

i just watched one of my kittens trying to nibble cooties off of a potholder that fell on the floor. you'd think no one ever fed him!
