Mannie was a blue wave surfer yesterday. :-D - a slow slidage down from the pinks (YAY on the slow part). We almost made green. I probably jinxed that with the 14% food at +2 in the pm cycle :roll: , but heck - it was a 60 point drop in an hour - thought we may have a dive on our hands. :lol: The 14% sure put on the brakes. I might have to rethink that the next time a round. It appears that he surfed the mid blues through the night, starting out this morning @ 253. Nice day yesterday! cat_pet_icon
ETA: ugh on the 324 @ +2 - perhaps we are bouncing - a bit high for just a food spike. :roll:

Normalcy in MannieLand this morning. Breffis #1 consumed - an all time favorite: wellness turkey. We are still in auto feeder school - missed the +1 completely. I had to go find the boy, and was greeted with the "yeah I heard it, no big deal, I'll get there when I'm ready, so what's with the fussin', don't need the feeder lecture, ok so take me there is you want" look. So I did. Nanners have been arranged, security established, but elected to sleep in the other catnip toys. :shock: , with a watchful eye on the nanner pile. No civvie has ventured near - they know better.

Kitties!! Party coming!! It is at Rusty's - in his barn. So much fun!! and hey - we have to do our best to find a new mousie while there for Binks - the torties did in his old one... bad torties!! So save the date - we party at Rusty's on New Year's Eve! ~~ Mannie

Hi Karrie - I know - that happens to me too. I could have sworn I posted on someone's condo, and **poof** no where to be seen.... surely couldn't be operator error - no way! :lol: and thank you for the rest.

Shesshhhh - I wish it would warm up. 28 out there, brrrr! for us. But I suppose it is better than some where I hear it is in the single digits, very cold, with more snow or sleet or ice on the way...

Mornin' Michelle and Mannie....nice blue surf yesterday and I hear you on the "overapplying the brakes" concept :lol: :lol: Sometimes when they pick up that head of steam and they are divers like at least four kitties I know in LL, you gotta do what you gotta do. Hmmm...sleeping on the other catnip toys and just guarding the nanners, eh?

Cold here today but not 28!! Brrrr!! That is supposed to hit us tonight...we've got to get out and cover plants later today when it stops raining. When we were out yesterday it was in the mid 50s and I was dressed like Nanuck of the North :lol: :lol: :lol:

Mannie....thanks for bringing the peppermint niptinis and hanging out by the fireplace last night. THEY WORKED!!! I'm all ready to go help decorate the barn and get it ready for the party and I'd LOVE to try and catch a mousie for Binks!!!

Morning marjorie - hard for me to imagine it being that cold in AZ. It just seems so weird... and yes on the overcarbing - i used to have to feed those type drops with a 14%, now that seems to be changing. more learning...

Moonie - sweet on the barn dance huh. Nice idea that Rusty had - he is one cool dude! Yep - I am working feverishly on the menu. Hmmmmmm - wonder if we can grill inside the barn.... ~~ Mannie

Hey Mannie, I think that Binks would be a good Master of Ceremonies for our New Year's Eve party. Don't you agree? And yes, it would be great if we could then present him with a nice, friendly, white-footed mouse to take home and love. My mamabean says she has seen mouse trails in our yard.
We can keep the tuna toddys warm on the wood stove. We can use the kitchen in the house, too. My mamabean plans to have all of her cooking done by the late afternoon tomorrow. My beans are having a double party: late afternoon and midnight supper.
See you soon, and let me know what the menu is going to be in case I have to run out and buy some ingredients.

Hi Michelle. Mannie, come down! Maybe it's all the excitement of the party. Maggie's getting ready for her first party since going back on the juice. It's cold here in southern CA - 40 degrees this morning! It got up to the 50's but still cold for us!

Michelle: I've been there with numbers like that and it is not fun so I feel your "pain" :sad: Where's that Mannie's Owners Guide??? I am sending all my telekinetic thoughts to Mannie for him to come down....and Gracie said we have leftover peppermint niptinis that she is bringing right away!!

Mannie pls come down from there cuz I miss you and we got things to do for the party!! I think maybe we better not have any MC stuff there!!!

Hey Mannie, Plenty of room to grill right outside the barn door. We're supposed to have warm weather (in the 40s) tomorrow night. I think the party should be elegantly casual, just the ticket for a barn party. The barn has a second floor, reached by an outside stairway. We can dance and sing up there. Puss 'n Boots clomping will be great! And you are right: all LC food to start the New Year right. We can grill bison burgers (there's a bison ranch not too far away; I'll order some burgers). I can make off with some smoked salmon from the beans' table if I'm quiet. See you tomorrow! In good numbers, OK?

I SO Agree - elegantly casual. that's what I was thinking... bison is a great idea - it has been a long time since I have grilled bison. maybe some grilled kabobs too? tuna, or maybe chicken... i like the smoked salmon - we can be sneaky and get some... yum!
