Good Morning LL! ~O) ~O) ~O)

Well, thanks to the Boing Master, mamabean got some sleep last night! Woke up just before test time. Everyone in the house is sick; I'm either fighting this cold really hard, or I'm just post-Christmas-Leo-testing tired. Gonna try to run today and force the issue one way or the other.

Leo is staring out the back door, surveying the debris trail from last night's Coronation party. Paw prints in the snow everywhere, and a squirrel is currently munching on bread I threw out. More wind in the night but since Leo's BGs were high, I didn't worry about him not eating with the storm. BUT the little stinker ate anyway!!! Why oh why won't he eat during a storm when he's slogging out the green slimy moat ??? Now he's preening and had a litterbox run, so all is well in the new kingdom.

Hey guys, was that an awesome party or WHAT?!? Thanks for driving all the way to my backyard sliding on the snowy roads. The cannonballs into the jacuzzi were FUN spashing water EVERYWHERES! And toasting toes by the fire after eating all those DELICIOUS rainbow fuds! The bean says I eated too much cake cause I'm bouncing again. I tried so hard but I didn't quite run the rainbow yesterday, but I did leap from BLACK to BLUE, that's good for the Rainbow King, right??? The Court Barista and Master Griller (and Rainbow Bandit) made tasty fuds all night - I love the mouse-kabobs! And beautiful Queen Neko and her rainbow crown was dazzling! Duchess Maggie of Southern CA was sparking in her emerald jewels, right? My sis is the BEST a guy could have! Royal Chief Pastry Chef Tess outdid herself with the rainbow crisps and brownies and the sweets - oh I has a bellyache! I so glad all you royal kittehs came! I think I need to lay down today.

Morning Lisa, sorry about the higher numbers, but it let you get some sleep. Hope leo comes down today. Everyone seeems to be getting that cold. I had it a while back, so hope I'm immune from catching it, anti-jynx. Have a good run. Sometimes a good walk or run does help. Hope it isn't too cold. We only have 48 degrees, chilly for us.

Leo, my bro, I love my title of Duchess Maggie of Southern CA, and my sparkling emerald necklace is so beautiful, thank you. You looked great being crowned King Rainbow. I ate and partied so much all I wanna do today is sleep and cozy up on Rusty's radiator. See ya later on today, Mags

Morning guys I am in the same boat as you fighting this stupid cold! At least Leo cooperated so you could sleep, that is always nice we all know how precious our sleep is! How Leo comes down for you today. Happy Sunday!

I hope you feel better Lisa - bummer on the cold. been dealing with that here too, finally feel a little better today. For me it was a combo of holiday, basement, DGS, and overall fatigue... Good luck with the run. I often will do that too - some sort of physical thing when fighting colds. Weird, but often it does help.

LOL on the backyard debris... That was some coronation! and he almost has all the colors yesterday too. Mannie was following suit - he just missed the red one... :shock: Darn rainbow cats! omg. and yes on the why won't they eat when they need to, and pig out when they don't. Mannie pulled that one on me last night. scarf scarf at shot time, picky picky picky when he was 87. normally he would gobble up anything when he is green. silly kitties...

LEO!!!!!!!! DUDE!!!!!!!!!!! that was some coronation! I LUBBED the cannonballs into the jacuzzi - all then icicles that kept forming for all our splashes. heeheehee that was so fun. I hope everybody kikes the rainbow fuds. That was funs to make. Then mouse kabobs were tricky! I still liked the rainbow crisps too - Tess is a master... Hey see you later! Oh Leo, what happened last night? Maui came home looking like a rainbow, covered in cake and icing. check out mannie's condo, it;s all in there....

Hi Ann - this is a bad cold from what I see. Mine wasn't terrible but DH and DS are out cold. I know what you mean on the exercise. I ran a slow 8 miles, which is long for me. I'm working up my long runs. It was about 29 degrees and 25 MPH winds! I was bundled and it was a bright sunny day, so it was a nice run.

Hi Michelle and Scrabble - ack - feel better! Leo was a good boy, but he's still wearing pinks, which doesn't bode well for a good night's sleep, 'cause he's clearing bounces quite nicely now!

Hi Michelle and Mannie - yeah, you got hit with a lot all at once! Stinkers, they are about the food. I have to back off Leo's food - he gets too much. He regained his weight but I didn't adjust the food! I threw some old bread out on the patio and the birds were there all day, so Leo had critters to look at cleaning up the party debris!

Hi Hillary - I wonder what these cats would do if we actually put them together in the same room? :lol: :lol: :lol:

Hi Wendy - thanks on the cold - I feel a lot better. Just really tired. I hope Leo comes down NICELY so I only have to get up once or twice.

that would be interesting to see now wouldn't it. i'd love to make a series of books and cartoons highlighting the antics of our kitties and bringing attention to fd and other kitty issues for kids and parents to learn from.

now if only i could really get it going andpublished, that would be cool.

as for Miss Maui - she isn't talking! and i had to wait all day to change the sheets, because I had a case of bed lump and couldn't make it go away - tickling and smushing didn't work....but it finally disappeared and after I remove Maui from the bed I will be able to make it. sigh...

Hi Hillary - so funny! A lump of cat! My mom's cat gets under the covers as she makes the bed, and the bed is completely made .... except for this conspicuous lump... :-D That's a good idea about the children's books. I wonder if there is an existing line of books that you could "hook on to" that already gets published. Maybe you could write an article for a vet magazine, where an initial publication would probably get accepted more easily, and then you could branch from there.

HI Marje - thank you! I'm mostly over being sick I think - I didn't get it as bad as everyone else. My body fought it for a couple days but did not succumb (anti-jinx). However I did run 8 miles yesterday so the sleep was much welcomed anyway!!!

FINALLY he is starting to clear this bounce. Luckily I will be around all day for his dips into nice colors (right Leo?!?!?)
