Hi Guys! Just dropping in to let you all know what is going on w/Spot and Ralph since they went to the vet yesterday.
Spot is doing well. Today was an all green cycle day. Spot is doing well. His vet visit went well also. Vet had no concerns. Said he looks good and his teeth look good, gums just a tad pink. Tried to get a stool sample by going up his bum, but Spot clenched his little cheeks tighter than tight, so I have to watch and see if I can get one when he goes in the littler box. I found a lump under his skin, and vet said it is scar tissue from his injections and I need to move my injection sites around. I thought I was doing that, but obviously not.
Ralph update...We had our normal vet today, the older much wiser one, lol, and we had a good conversation about what was going on w/him and what the course of treatment has been w/the other vet, the younger not quite as wise one. Vet thinks that the eating issue could more than likely be from his teeth. Said there was more tarter on one side than the other, probably chewing more on one side because of pain. She also thinks that he may have some arthritis in his lower spine, by the pelvis area, even tho it did not show up on the xrays. He seems to be very tender when she pet him there. We are gong to continue w/ the tramidol for now and she suggested that I buy some cosequin. Ralph is also going to get his dental in two weeks, when Spot gets his.
So a very fruitful visit yesterday. Bean is very very sick. I had to drag myself to work today. If I called off I would need a drs. excuse since tomorrow is our holiday. I went in late, left about forty five minutes early. My chest hurts so much from coughing, I have a headache, and I am going between running a fever and not running a fever. So, please excuse me for not visiting condos in the past few days. I would like to visit some tonight, but I really am not up to it. Just wanted to give you guys and update and also to let you know that we are thinking of you all. In case I don't get around to saying it tomorrow, I wish everyone a Very Happy New Year!!!
Hi guys! Tanks so much to da KTSS crew for stopping by last night and bisiting me after da vettiebean bisit. Ralph sez tanks too!! He is offering to join the KTSS crew if he is aloud, since he ain't FD. Eneyway, it waz so nice of you! Well, gotta go lay on my beans lap. She isn't feeling well, you know and I have to keep her warm!.......Lubs Spot
