Champ had a pretty spectacular day yesterday (for him) after making me groan with an AMPS of 307. His PMPS was 76, +3 of 92, and +6 of 129....great cycle for Mr. Bouncypants. I swear, I should have called him Tigger.
Except he's NOT the only one!!!  Now you're going to have that song lodged in your head for the rest of the day!!
I gave Champ his Adequan injection this morning. He tends to not nap on the mornings he gets his shot and he BEGS for food. Since his weight is doing so well (his high was 21 pounds before he had diabetes, he's now around 16.5), I don't like to give in to his demands for treats between meals. I've taken to giving him bonito flakes since this is seriously kitty crack for him and seems to satisfy his need for something to eat. I forgot to mention...after Champ got out of the vet hospital, I mentioned he had green discharge in the corner of his eyes. Well, just as the vet told me, it disappeared within a day. He's been a changed kitty since "the incident." He stopped sleeping with me when he became diabetic... don't know why. Then a few months ago, he started sleeping with my daughter all the time. Well, he now sleeps with me. He comes in every night and gets his scritches and then settles in around the shin area for the night. Sometimes he leaves after I've fallen asleep, but most mornings he's still there with me when I get up. I hope it lasts!!!!
Well, I've got a buttload of work this morning so off I go. I caught whatever my daughter has had so I've got a yucky cough and sinus congestion. Hope it stays mild!!! Have a great day, everyone!!! Another short week!!

The wonderful thing about Tiggers
Is Tiggers are wonderful things
Their tops are made out of rubber
Their bottoms are made out of springs
They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy
Fun, fun, fun, fun, FUN!
But the most wonderful thing about Tiggers
Is I'm the only one
The wonderful thing about Tiggers
Is Tiggers are wonderful chaps
They're loaded with vim and with vigor
They love to leap in your laps
They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy pouncy
Fun, fun, fun, fun, FUN
But the most wonderful thing about Tiggers
Is I'm the only one.
