Great #'s on Maverick! I guess for some reason Maverick doesn't want you two sleeping together. :-| I've really never had to deal with that to that excess. One of my cats used to sit on the dresser and push change off one by one when my DH started living here. But he got over it. One of my dogs ate a whole in his pants. :shock: Good luck with your sleeping dilemma

Good morning guys! Nice amps for maverick today, actually nice numbers all day yesterday! Hope the surf continues for the rest of the day .. sorry maverick is still yeowling at night if you aren't on the couch .. what we don't do to please these kitties .. have a great weekend guys!

I think he's staying up late, partying, celebrating these fantabulous numbers!!! Hope it continues (the surfing, I mean!) and maybe you can buy him some Beach Boys records...! (Help drown out the yeowling!)

Great numbers. I feel your pain on the sleeping arrangments. Milo will sometimes start meowing in our bed room until DH finally has enough and moves into the other bedroom. I don't think Milo doesn't want us to sleep together, I think he just wants the attention. Strangly though, after DH leaves, he usually picks a bed and lays down. What we do for our kitties is right!!!

Yes...Jan's post was a riot! Isn't that amazing that he was quiet last night while you were on the couch. Now you've done it! :lol: Are you going to be sleeping there every night now? Oh my!! Great AMPS Maverick! :mrgreen:

If it means my husband gets a good nights sleep I would so sleep out there every night lol. He just won't stop. Its not a meow we hear in the daytime either. Its louder, with sad undertones. He was completely content last night - so I don't think its the darkness (I was worried about maybe it being his eyes). The funny thing is when he does join us on the bed, he always comes up to my side - makes me feel like a good mom that I'm his favourite.

Sorry to say it Maverick, but mom's getting ear plugs! I might get a beach boys CD and play it softly for him in the living room overnight. Maybe they will keep him company.

His +3 surprised me. I wonder if I gave him a fur shot this morning. Or the fact that he ate such a large amount of food last night (4 or 5 oz) has had an impact?

Great numbers for Maverick. He can be forgiven his foibles! Stu never spent much time on the bed with us, but he pounded on the door if it was closed (DH's cue to open it), and then he pounded on it again for DH to close it. In his prime this went on all night (we were really sleep-deprived!) Rusty gets right up on the bed as soon as we're in it, parks himself between us near our heads, and goes to sleep. I think he gets up from time to time during the night, but always comes back to "his spot". In the morning there is his face, looking into mine! It's really neat!

i just saw that Rocket and Maverick had the same AMPS today!!! Maverick is looking good!!! keep it up boy!!!

as per the meowing...has he been checked for hypter-T? i don't know much about it but one of the symptoms is the meowing...sort of the way you are describing it.....just a thought!

Honestly I don't fully understand these numbers. They don't depend on if he's eaten all day or just in the morning.

I thought that PMPS would be a lot higher than +5. I'm not around to actually see when he eats just how much is gone from the last time I walked by. I wonder if Maverick's free feeding the way he does (when he feels like he needs to eat) is helping his numbers. He has never polished off a 3oz can in one sitting. He free feeds on wet food. Just like he did on kibble before we switched him. He also seems to eat better at night most nights.
