Morning everyone! I'd like to thank all of you that take the time to visit Mannie, and apologize to all that I never get a chance to visit in return. There just never is enough time in the day... I think of you all, and hope your kitties are doing well. Know that I am there in spirit.

Mannie had a fairly decent day yesterday. We started out high, and slide down throughout the day, ending last night with a nice low blue - even hit green. We seem to be back in the pattern of high AMPS, pink AMPS, once again. Aiyee!!! 366 this morning. Well I am sure he will clear it soon, he always does.... Patience grasshopper!, it too will pass. ---- eta: 254 @ +2 whoa: dive says the captain... slower Mannie, OK?

Mannie is very cuddly this morning: PURR PURR PURR PURR :cool: :cool: I love mornings like this. He was patient for breffis this morning, sort of used his feeder - it only took one round of coaching ( :lol: ). He seems anxious to venture outside - though I am not too sure why: it's wet and cold and sloppy and drizzly and nasty out there. :lol: one knows it would be an immediate 180 and return to quarters should he even put one foot out the door. He decided upon nanner napping instead, once he rearranged them all. Normalcy in Mannieland. :cool: :razz:

Enjoy your furday everyone! It will be a busy one here today - shopping to do, holiday decorating to at least make a stab at, walks to take, cleaning.... well maybe not the cleaning. :roll:

Happy Furday, Michelle. I'm glad to see that Mannie is already coming down, but I hope he slows that diving. :-D Enjoy your day and don't work too hard. (Yuck on cleaning!)

Hey Mannie, I'll be waiting for the roadster. I can't wait to see you and Tess and Binks. I hope there will be room for more kitties, cuz there's quite a few of us up here on the pink floor. Love, Blackie

Second mention of shrimp treats here, where did you get them? the only ones I've found were made in china.

Michelle...what a nice, nice cycle for Mannie last night. Thanks for the moral support and advice....I can always rely on your sound input. It's a double edged sword for me to give Gracie 18% carbs right off the bat even though I know I have a low number and a long way to go. As Jill observed, Gracie is very slow to react to them now for some reason and it's like it stacks up on her and then BAMM. So I tried not to use them until I had to. I wish she had the predictability that Mannie does...and that I had the skills to read her like you read the Great One!!! Glad he was at least considering the feeder.

Sounds like you have a very busy day planned!!! I was just thinking that if I'm gonna be around here testing, I might as well start putting up decorations. Of course, it will be a new challenge this year with a kitten in the house..and not just any kitten...TOBEY!! :lol: :lol: :lol: Hope you have a great day doing your thing there!!! I can send Lupita up for the housework...I'm sure she'd enjoy a change of scenery and she will LOVE the cats.

Hi Marjorie - I hope all worked out OK last night - I haven't had time to visit you yet today. You do have a double edged sword there with Gracie. and what to do. I hear ya on the carb thing. Well at least last night gave you more data. I know with Mannie that I have to give the high stuff when he first goes that low, and then its a chain reaction: what did I get, and what do I feed now, then repeat as often as it takes. it's often very different from one day to the next. I think you are close, if not already there, with the predictability thing. It sometimes if difficult to interpret the data we see. And thanks for your kind comments - all i can do is read data, and make a best guess effort.... --- and good luck with Tobey and the decor - that brings back memories...

Ann - the shrimp treats I found were petsmart - and i think i need to pay more attention to what i buy... found them ( so excited!!!), get them home and voila - made in china. :-x where is the USA stuff?

Rusty - hey!! nah - you can be on any floor - I have lots! Shall I stop by and pick you up? I have packed shrimp and chicken treats, and a cooler of niptinis (but don't tell your bean that part). Moonie doesn't like the shrimps, so I brought chicken too... See you! ~~ Mannie

Yes, more data but it is like you said...sometimes difficult to interpret esp when it changes. Gracie has made many switch ups on us!!

Nice to see that Mannie is doing well and lining up those nanners. They do like to sleep on them and use them for a pillow.

Glad to see that catching on some to the auto feeder. I was wondering how he was doing with that. It's never fun if you have to stay back. :cool:

I know there never is enough time in the day. When I get home for work I have about 3hrs before bedtime. :shock: It goes fast.

Hi guys! He's trying... a slow descend all day.... oh my - another night like last night Mannie? That would be good! :-D

We had a sunny after noon here today - not a cloud in the sky. I let Mannie out for a bit - it was so fun to watch him take the yard in - did his perimeter patrol, rolled in the grass, sniffed anything and everything. One happy kitty!

What a busy day here : grocery shopping: done ;-) , laundry: done :o , cleaning: ignored :cool: , decorations up (well 85%):done :-D , Mannie's fuds restocked: done :razz: , walk in: done :cool: :-D -- WOOT! Nothing planned for the evening?: you betcha!

WOW.....I really wish I was that industrious but you really got busy and I bet it feels great to have all that done. And now....King BanananieMannie is wanting his turn for attention!!!

Mannie...I had to go to the eye vetty today...yuck...but she is nice!!! But guess what my mamabean bought and gave to me today? NANNERS!!!!

Don't feel bad Michelle. I know how you feel. I sometimes feel awful when I can't visit other's condos because I just don't have the time to even sit down some nights. We all care for each other and the furbabies here in LL. That is definitely known. Even when I don't get a chance to post, I just peek in and see how everyone is doing when I can. Never worry about not visiting, life can be a lot sometimes. We all understand :YMHUG:

Hi Jan! :lol: :lol: on the ~O) and actually I am rather fond of the bottled frappacino things.... dark chocolate mocha right now... or I could offer up a nice wine ( we need a good smiley for that).... and the feeder is slowly coming along. We had this all down pat a few months ago, and then one morning he decided he didn't know what the big deal was, why use it, and that was that. He's been in remedial auto feeder school ever since. ohmygod_smile

Hi Marjorie. Yep - crazy day. Just wanted to get some of this stuff DONE. The cupboards were bare, Mannie's stash needed replenishing, and the laundry and the cleaning just never goes away... :lol: :lol: And then there is this holiday that is rapidly approaching the deserves some sort of decoration... And so true on Mannie - he knows: the evening are his... :-D :cool: :shock: :razz:
