), and Happy TUNA Tuesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is TUNA TUESDAY!!! In honor of Tuna Tuesday, once again Lola and Bug, aka Paw Prints Pizza, will make their famous triple tuna pies, with tuna and nip infused crust, tuna toppings, and now triple tuna infused cheese. YUMMMMMMMM! It's tradition!, and these pizza pies totally rock! As a side benefit we have TUNA WATER too! It was SO COOL to be in NYC yesterday with Rusty. I UBS CENTRAL PARK!!!!! so. well. anyways.
Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized oranges and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are really good today too!
I hope everyone had a great Monday. Mine was great. It ended up being a let the day evolve day. In decided early on to take a short road trip. The thought of being able to see a snowy river without too much hassle to get there was too good to pass up. It beat house cleaning so off I went. Here's what I wrote last nght about the day: "Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. Our weather continues to be perplexing. Rains in some parts, sun in others and a whole lot of snow up in the mountains. I decided this morning to head on out towards Stevens Pass, see how far I could get before it became just too snowy for what I had intended for today, which was to visit a river, enjoy some outdoor time, and maybe see a flake or two. But not a blizzard.  . I made Gold Bar, maybe 25/30 miles shy of the Pass. I'd hoped maybe to head on up to Skykomish, or at least Index, but by the time I got to Gold Bar is was obvious that Gold Bar was as far as I was going. It was interesting: on the west side of Gold Bar, just a dusting of snow, on the east side there was close to 2", Funny how a few hundred yards can make such a difference. From the looks of the cars coming from the east it was coming down pretty good up By Skykomish, even more so by Stevens Pass, so.... enjoyed the Skykomish River where I was instead. Played in the snow some, it was a nice time. Very pretty there, all covered in white, but cold. I spent some time too in a small park in between the town and the RR tracks, walked the rails for a bit. Anyways ... nice little mini road trip on HWY 2. Came home to blue skies. You gotta love it. When I got home I went down once again to Picnic Point to watch the sun set. I knew it would be good, just by looking at the sky, sure was. What a nice topper for the day."
Normalcy in MusketeerVille!
The kitties were good kitties yesterday - even Lola. Fancy that! Well, normal Lola. When I was in the shower last night Lola had climbed up on this rack that I have that stores all the towels... she had managed to remove the ones that were in her way, leaving some there so she could have this nice little bed on the remaining towels... which also gave her a perfect view of the shower. This seems to be the routine these days. Guess she wanted to be able to see my face. LOL: we were eye to eye.... so.... she lets out this huge meow, jumps to the floor, scattering more towels, and proceeds to begin this pounding session on the shower door!     That too is becoming routine. I could see Elsa and Bug peeking around the corner... They always seem to know when she is being Lola .... Once again I told them: don't be like your sister.  They promptly scattered.
All the kitties have been good as far as the Christmas decor goes. it remains where I placed it. Surprisingly Lola has not messed with any of it since round one the day before when it all went up. Seriously?? What is up with that??? Is she saving it all for the tree? Probably. YUPP! Normalcy in MusketeerVille!
Have a great day everyone. Today is Seattle visit day with my friend in the early afternoon. WooHOO! And Breffis with my son. AND a hair cut in between. That is the extent of my social day today. wow -busy! We didn't get the snows they said we would, or the below freezing temps. it's 32, still cold, but better than 25. I am grateful, what with all the out and about I need to do today.
