Good Afternoon from snowy Saskatoon!

We got a good 12 inches or so of snow yesterday and this morning and i have to get out and shovel, so i'm procrastinating instead! :lol: I sure am glad i don't have to be anywhere today, but i am interested in seeing how well my new wheels handle the snowy conditions.

Leo is doing well, he's currently napping in my bed after a big snack of FF and a plate of shrimp i bought for him. He's had some nice blue days over the weekend. I tried starting some marin for his liver (its a liver supplement) but he seemed to suffer from a tummy ache all evening after he took it, so i'm not sure if we'll experiment with it again. Does anyone else use marin for cats?

It's great to see you guys. 12" of snow :shock: :shock: :shock: . I know you guys are used to it, and we get a fair amount around here, too, but I have no tolerance for that white stuff. I can't wait to retire some place warm...to bad that's about 20 or so years down the road!

I used to use Denamarin with Mario. After a while, he refused to take it anymore, so I jsut stopped. And, because of timing, I wasn't able to get it in him really the "proper"way...2 hours before a meal as a whole pill. The best I could do was quarter the pill and give it to him about 20 minutes before a meal. But, now that you mention it, he did barf it up somewhat regularly...maybe once a week. Since I stopped giving it to him, he very rarely barfs, except for the occasional hairball.

Well good to know Leo isn't the only one who suffered a tummy ache after the marin, although the denamarin is a little bit different than marin, but i did buy both for Leo to try. I was really hoping he would tolerate it better, maybe i'll pepcid him in the AM then try the marin in the PM.

I love snow! I just don't like shovelling it :sad:

I think Marje gives denamarin to one of her cats. Nice numbers for Leo today. :-D 12"! I'm jealous. I'm ready for skiing but no precip of any kind around here for a while.

Oh snow! Fun! I really miss the white stuff. Meanwhile it is 80 here today. Have a great day Leo & Tracy!

Its crazy how much snow we've gotten this year already, i heard a blurb on the news that we received more snow in November than we did the whole winter last year! :shock:

Just got back from shovelling, i can see how people suffer heart attacks from it. I tried getting Leo to go outside, but he took one look outside and ran back in.....smart cat! :lol:

Hi Tracy, thanks for visiting Mags earlier. Wow on the 12" of snow and all the shovelling. I used to live in PA and remember driving to work in it! I haven't seen snow in so long. Nice numbers for Leo today.
 
What nice blues for Leo! I hope you find a way to make the marin work for Leo.

:roll: I finally found your condo, sorry to miss you yesterday. I loved new snow when we lived in MN, it's just after it has been around for a week and turns to dirty slush that it lost it's appeal.
