Deputy LagoonMistress China has been out practicing her surfing skills today in preparation for the World Kitty Surfing Championship....She says it's in Hawaii but until I see the official entry form, I'm not believing it.

I think she's just showing off for the other kitties!! ;)

As with all of you, the loss of our dear Gracie this morning was a shock and we all are just heartbroken and wishing there was some way to lesson the pain that Marje and Mike must be feeling tonight. We were hoping for another LL miracle but I guess the Lord decided it was time to call Gracie to be with Him.

Enjoy Hawaii, China - looks like you are in the running for becoming the new World Kitty Surfing Champion.... which is also way cooler than wanting to add the trampoline as a new Olympic discipline. At least I think that's what my boys are in training for.
 
China, you look so pretty in green today. I wish I could go swimming with you, but I just can't seem to get all the way to the lagoon. I's gonna keep trying, though. - Cinco

It all seems so surreal - I still can't believe Gracie is gone. If I'm this heartbroken, how awful must Mike and Marje feel?
Some kitties make a special impact, and Gracie was one of those. L&L Land will never be the same. :(:(:(
