Hi Michelle,

Thank you. Our trip to Sleepy Eye MN. went well, we went to visit my husbands 98 year old grandmother!

Unfortunatly Whiskers is way up tonight. It is really disturbing. I hoped after 2 months on Lantus Whiskers would be improving, but it seems just the opposite. I am going to call our vet tomorrow.

Whiskers is stressed I'm sure from the car & not at home! Lantus takes time, some kittys are off the juice in a month or two but most are not. Hang in there (((Cheryl)))

I wouldn't base Whisker's progress on a day when you're routine may be disrupted.

I also think you don't have a full picture. I strongly suspect your pre-shot numbers reflect that Whiskers is bouncing after seeing blue numbers in the middle of the cycle. Without your having any tests during the PM cycle you are drawing a conclusion with half of the data missing. Lantus does take time to work and for you to find the right dose for your cat.
