Late start for Trix's condo today! Same old, same old...similar numbers, Ms P is doing her thang but avoiding the lagoon (but I'm glad she's doing something!) Trix is all kinds of cute and snuggly and feisty.

I've been caught up in my painting project, and am having so much fun! I took the old 1940 lower kitchen cabinets that we tore out years ago and am doing a layered distressed finish on them...so far, it is coming out exactly as I envisioned and I am so excited! I have several layers of lacquer to go before I can call it "done", though, but I'll post before and after pics when I'm there! We're still plugging away at the basement remodel, too...bit by bit.

I also got a little "bonus" today...one of my partners needed to switch her schedule so now she's working New Year's Eve instead of me...woohoo...another day home with the kitties!!

Back to house projects....sounds boring to most, but is fun to me! Have a great day, LL!

I'm glad I'm not the only one that gets excited by house projects. Frustrating as they can sometimes be such a feeling of achievement when they're finished - of course then there's the next one to move onto, and the next one... Looking forward to seeing the pics
 
I'm glad you enjoy the house projects. I'd rather go biking. :-) And look at that PMBG! That's what we're talkin' 'bout!

Lookin' good today, Trixie! Wow on the 1940s cabinets. I'll bet they are really well made and that they will be gorgeous with a makeover.

Wow on your DIY remodel- I can't wait to see the pics- glad to hear you are enjoying this! Great to hear Trixie is feeling good as well.
 
Well, Trixie, for you....excellent! (I skip reading the AMBG and go right to the later number!)

Yes, please, pictures. I love watching DIY stuff on TV and seeing the finished projects friends do. Me? No vision. No talent. No DIY! It sounds so hard.

Great on the surprise day off. Somehow more fun when unexpected.

Can't wait to see the before/after pics!!!! I love house projects like that...especially if you are near enough to the kitties that you can take breaks and get kitty lovin'! ;) Glad Trixie is behaving herself while you're busy, busy, busy! AND YAY FOR NOT WORKING NEW YEARS EVE!!!! :D
