Simon has started off the day in the greens, so maybe the skinny .25 is an ok dose for him right now. I'm getting hopeful that Simon will eventually join the other kitties at the falls, but I don't want to be too optimistic and then get disappointed if he decides he wants to stay right where he is for awhile. It is hard to be patient!

Great AMPS. He is a really newly diagnosed kitty - only last month right? He's getting his gear ready for the falls :mrgreen: Keep it up Simon!!!

Yes, Simon was only diagnosed a little over a month ago so I'm hoping I got him on insulin fairly early in his disease. He is such a good boy. He knows that when I put him on his blanket in the "testing room", formerly known as my yoga room, he will get treats. He sits on that blanket in the room at the times he thinks he is going to get tested and get a treat. He even has figured out that when I say "let's get tested", he goes straight to his blanket. What an amazing cat!

Awww, I love it. That's amazing that he does that and only after such a short time. Lucky you.
