Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty is green again, VERY GREEN!! I put the skinny back on his dose, figuring that he probably went lower last night. So after a day of "regular" 1.75, we are back to "skinny" 1.75. Hopefully the trip is now "worn off" and Rusty is back on the green track. We had a good test, shot, breakfast (Wellness Turkey, 2 sittings). This morning Rusty actually drank water out of his fountain! (I've never seen him use the fountain and he hardly ever drinks water from his bowls; only the water I add to his food.) The very cold weather (below zero this morning) has a drying effect, since the furnace is working a lot.

Lots to do today to get ready for the party. Linda is arriving tomorrow afternoon. The weather report sounds OK (light snow) and she should have pretty good driving conditions. Can't wait to see her again. Rusty is really looking forward to seeing her, too.

We are keeping BJ, Rocket, Peanut and all other sick kitties in our thoughts and prayers.

Hi Ella,

I am getting excited about the trip. Pinky thinks he is coming, too. He has taken over the suitcase as his new domain. I explained that he would be travelling with Mannie to the kitties' New Year's Eve party. He seems unconvinced.

WOW on those AMPS Rusty! Yay for the fountain use. Our kitties love their fountain.

What a beautiful green kitty we have this morning! Rusty is making good use of that juice. Yay on the fountain! You're right about the drier air. By spring time Rusty will probably be in love with that fountain.

Morning guys! LOVE that amps - I too hope that this is the return to those so totally green Rusty numbers! Paws crossed. Good luck with the skinny on the dose. I "hate" the skinnys - so hard for me to measure.

Too fun on the water fountain. GO RUSTY!

Hi again,
I think the meter/strips may have been cold this morning (must remember to put them in my pocket when the weather is this cold)! We'll see where Rusty is after onset begins.

Rusty! What amazin' numbers but isn't that AMPS a little low?.....but Mama knows you so well.

When we change to heat, I keep one of those little electric potpourri pots going with just water in it - keeps slight moisture in the air and keeps down the static electricity too.

Celi, that pic makes me want to be out on the water! We don't have enough snow to do anything on, and the lakes are just beginning to freeze up. We could go canoeing if we had a Grumman!!
Rusty is having a nice, low blue surf.

Tink & Tawny can't wait to come to your party! What shall they bring? Fireworks? In Louisiana we have fireworks on New Year's Eve. It's probably too cold where you are, tho. When I first moved here, being originally from Iowa & Nebraska, I thought fireworks was a really weird thing to have on New Year's Eve, but it's actually kind of cool.

Tink & Tawny are going to go visit Mannie's condo now to make sure he knows to pick them up!

Celi, I just gotta ask: Is that kitty paddling toward the banjo music or away from it? Cuz if Kitty is canoeing down in the bayou here in good ol' Looo--weeezy-annnna, she is most likely is running away. But if she's heading for Rusty's party, it'll be OK. Cuz I don't think they have shades of Deliverance in Northern New York state...do they? :lol:
 
Great numbers for Rusty today. Glad he likes the skinny again.

Hope you have lots of fun preparing for the party. Tobey has been busy helping everyone make soup for all those who need KTSS including Zener's mom, Anne.
