unbelievable.. he really does not want to come down eh? Maybe 9.5 will do it.

What does your vet say about all this?

Last time I talked to the vet, he said something about if Pepper's dose goes much higher we should probably do some tests. I think Pepper was maybe at 7.5 units at that time, so we should probably do some tests.

Nice to see Tiggy doing so well.
 
honestly, I do think having Pepper tested for acromegaly and IAA will make you feel better. If he does have one of those conditions, at least you will know and you can treat accordingly. It will also give you some reassurance, once you get past the initial stress of the diagnosis (trust me, the diagnosis is HARD to hear, but at least once I knew Jazzy was acro, I knew I wasn't doing anything wrong and I knew what I had to do to bring her numbers down). And if he doesn't have one of those conditions, then that's good to know too!

Treatment isn't extremely different whether he has acro or IAA or not, you still keep doing dose changes methodically until you get a breakthrough, but it can still really help if you understand what is going on.
