Good Morning LL! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (YUM! I Love coffee!), and Happy Sunday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! Lola and Bug are very busy resting.... They say Sunday is sleep in day... I dunno - I really think they are gearing up for holiday parties. Yupp! That's it! well ok then! OH! They are working on New Year's Eve pizzas. Bells or smething I think. I dunno.... A big secret they say... so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. For my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....... SWEET!, and perfect for a fall day. OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, and a chocolate caramel drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts standard with every delivery!

I hope everyone had a great Caturday. Mine was good, rather laid back, just a relaxing Caturday. SWEET! We had alot of fog here yesterday, rains intermixed with that. It was a rather gray and dreary morning here. The sun broke through for ab it about noon, just about the time I was ready to head on out. YAY!. So off I went - WOOT! Here's what I wrote last night about the day: "Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. Mine was productive, but also relaxing. we did ok here, really an SOS, let it evolve kind of day, but productive too. The shopping was done, laundry done, and I managed two treks out doors. It was a day at the Meadowdale shore, through the woods. There sure weren't many people down there. That was kinda nice! The sky has such a mellow feel to it, color wise, and with cloud formations. one of those afternoons where it was just nice to hang out outdoors. It wasn't too cold either, maybe 45. I thought the clouds looked like a killer sunset in the making, so took a chance on that and went to Picnic Point at sunset. The clouds had shifted some so it wasn't as spectacular as I thought it would be but still nice enough. It was one of those that started out yellow/light orange/orange, but no reds, and then went pink to lavender. It was really very pretty. So went the day, productive, but relaxing too. I stopped in too at the lynnwood pool to see on lessons etc for the Nicholas. I looked at that online and some of it just didn't make sense to me, so off to see the pool people. anyways... he's set for his swim eval on this coming TH. They have lots of openings in the January session, so he could start as early as 1/13. depending on how the eval goes. He's still a little gun shy around strangers, so.. I dunno. we will see how it goes, and if he will work with the guy doing the evaluation. At least he knows him by sight, so maybe that will help. Enjoy your evening - I am off to my sofa, for some serious unwind time. After condos that is. :-D "

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   The kitties were GOOD kitties yesterday, even Lola. Well... i knew she'd been up the tree a couple of times, the ornaments end up in the strangest places. She must have knocked off at least 14/15 of them. This tree cannot come down soon enough!  I've discovered that if we leave the tree alone, and not talk to her while she is in it, she is more likely to leave it alone, or at least be less active while in climb mode. There is Lola mode, crazy Lola mode, ad super nutty over energized Lola mode. Well, let's just say if we leave her alone there are less climbs....  She really is lot of fun: we still have the glass pounding, the the frig door riding, and the towels shelf sitting while the bean showers, and the occasional plant dig, the paper chewing, and the never ending always present marathon runs. Bug and Elsa just stare.... You can see the thought processes: "She can't possibly be related..." YUPP: Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone! I'm not too sure what will be here today. An out and about for sure, but I think it will be local... to the shore if it isn't too cold, or wet, out there. I may even just sit down with a god book, and read. it has been ages since I have done that.... ages!

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN cat_pet_icon

That sunset was very pretty last night. Lola is going to be so disappointed when the tree is gone. I think she'll have a blast helping you take it down though.

Enjoy your day whatever you decide to do.

Hi Michelle,
How cool on Nicholas and the lessons. :-D :-D He really seems ready - I bet the instructors will love to have him. Hope the eval goes well.
I love hearing about Lola's antics- even when the tree is down, she will find plenty to keep her occupied
Enjoy your day ~

Morning Carla ~O) ~O) ~O) THX on the pics. It sure was pretty where I took those photos. Makes up for all the fog we are having today. I think so too on Lola, she had so much fun putting it up, that I'm sure she won't miss out on helping take it down. Thx on today - been great so far, out for an early morning walk/hike.

Morning Jane ~O) ~O) ~O) THX - I think the lessons thing will be fun,. We shall see how it goes with the eval. He still can be a bit shy around strangers, so this shall be interesting. Yes on the instructors - already a few have told me they are anxious to get him in lessons - once he gets with how they do what they do I am sure he will have a blast. YUPP: more than sure ion Lola: tree or no tree she will be busy being Lola. What a cat! Will do on today. :-D

Morning (oh, afternoon) Michelle :-D I'm glad you had some relaxation yesterday! I hope you can have a nice day with errands today. I've never had a kitty like Lola...sounds like a lot of entertainment! If you do decide to read a book, I hope it's a good one and you enjoy it. I love to read :-D Have a super Sunday!

Gorgeous sunset pictures Michelle!!

I'm sure you'll have plenty of help from SNOEL when you decide to take the tree down! (super nutty over energized Lola)

Good luck with the book reading...If yours are anything like mine, when I pick up a book to read, they worm their way in between my eyes and the book so I can't see the pages! (they also do that trick when I'm on the computer or trying to read the newspaper...I think it must be in the "rules for being a cat" manual...never let your bean concentrate on anything other than catering to your every whim!) :-D

Have a great Sunday!!

You sitting down and reading a book? That I'll believe when I see it! I think I know where the energizer fish gets it from! Cool on the lessons, he will love it after he gets over being shy.

Lola will certainly miss that tree. Maybe a replacement? You can DIY if you know just a little woodworking (or someone who does) or there are a couple companies who make the components.

Hi everyone! Hope the day has treated you well. Hmmmmm... it is football Sunday, the Seahawks are so far winning, and I never did pick up that book, even though I have several in my "gotta read this!" pile. Ann, you know me to well..... I did head on ut early to the shore, my usual walk through the woods, and out to the water. It was a foggy start today, still is actually. The stuff has not lifted today. No awesome sunset today. :-| I will post the Picassa link to the shore pics in tomorrow's condo. I came home from the hike/walk and cleaned my house. I really should have rad that nook. I am sure it would have been more enjoyable.

Hi Ann - this is SO TRUE!
You sitting down and reading a book? That I'll believe when I see it!
   Funny thing is - I really do like to read. The "replacement" for Lola's tree just may be the ticket! Then she could jump and climb all she wanted. A DIY might be good too. My DSIL has done a few BIG cat posts, maybe he'd do something that would work for Lola. Hmmmmm... food for thought! -- and I so hope on the lessons. I think so too, once we get past the being shy thing. it will be interesting to see how he reacts on TH. LOL, and probably true on the energizer thing... I never cans till still for long.

Hi Chris - THX on the pics! It really was so pretty there, and close to the house, so the spot is easy to get too. Oh HAHA on SNOEL! i like that, wrote it down so I won't forget. Too funny, and very very true. There is no doubt that she will be there to help. oh too funny on your cats and the book. None of these kitties are like that, but I did have one that went to the Bridge about 5 years ago that did. OMG - I could never sit with book, she was always "right there"  She was also my computer cat too. Lola will come and sit with me when I am on the computer, but so far has left me and that book alone.

Hi Rachel - Today has been good, did more than I planned on, but that's OK. Day was productive, :-D  Never did get to that book, wish I had though, as I really do love to read. Hey - maybe tonight! I too have never really had a kitty like Lola before. She is my first "no holes barred cat". She is so fun, entertainment all the time. I come home wondering, :"what will it be today? What surprises await behind that door?" Love it all, so much fun.

I can't imagine what Lola is going to do with herself without a tree...you'd better hide all the kleenex boxes now  ! I bet she would LOVE a big old true "cat tree"...nooks and crannies, things to scratch and climb, etc. And, you can decorate it for her next Christmas!

Very, very cool that Nicholas might be starting "official" swim lessons soon! Hopefully his shyness around strangers will melt away since the pool is involved!

Have a great evening, Michelle!

Hi Amy - oh HAHA    on the Kleenex boxes!! I had forgotten about those.... you are probably right on a good ole fashioned cat tree. maybe huh! anything to climb in and on.... other than my banister/railing. True on the decor for next Christmas... a few lights... some ornaments.. good to go!  THX on Nicholas - I hope so too. The shyness is the only concern now to get him past that so he can be in a class with others. He loves to be with kids his age, so hopefully he will take to this very well.
