Hello LL! Yesterday: Chyna 12/28

Well, stinky pinky this morning meant dosecrease for Chyna, as discussed with Marje last night (Thanks again, Marje :YMHUG: ) The +2 is down slightly, so we'll see how today goes ;-)

I hope the start of the day isn't indicative...I slept poorly, then Chyna laid down on her side when I was about to shoot. So I though, ugh I should get her to sit up so there is better manuvering, nah it'll be fine...maybe mama bean pushed the plunger too fast :? . She jerked afterwards as I was removing the syringe and turned around to knaw at me. Pretty sure it wasn't a fur shot, but the jerk was enough to pull the needle out of her, and into my finger. OUCH :shock: . I forgot how much that hurts. (Yes to all you moms, I did wash with soap and water, and put polysporin and a bandaid on it :lol: )

I tried a BTB but my brain wouldn't shut off...so just dozed for an hour. Chyna was waiting when I got up for her second breffis and ran to the testing spot, making me panic and think she'd dropped a bunch. Nope, just hungry :lol: I guess I'll grab breakfast too then come back to visit. Looks like more shovelling is in my future, more snow overnight :evil:

Good luck with the dosecrease. I hope it brings lower numbers. Sorry about the ouchie shot and getting your finger. That does hurt.

Thanks Carla, and Mariko, for visiting :-D The finger feels better now. We have a slow day so far...guess she read the condo of me saying I didn't like night dosecreases, and is probably saving her action for a PJ party? :shock: :roll: :lol:

HA! Yes they read the condos! So far a nice slow slide, keep it that way, Chyna. Isn't BTB great,even if you don't sleep. Even after 4 years of this I'm still not used to getting up in the mornings, always a night owl!

Hi Rachel -

It looks like a slow slide for Chyna, sure hope so. Good luck too with the new dose. sorry for the finger jab - every now and then id get one of those too. Mannie was always such a good tester and shot taker, that I usually didn't worry about those flying needles....but every now and then... i still remember how much that hurts.

oh wow on the snow. all we have is fog. I'd rather have the snow. ;-)

I hope the dosecrease works for Chyna. It seems like so many kitties - Trix included - are in line for increases these days! Ouch on getting your finger...yep, I know how much that one hurts!!! I hope you sleep better tonight, and tomorrow is a better day!!

Hi Michelle, thanks, she looked like she was going down! I'd love to give you our snow...we've had 6 inches in the last day, and are in the middle of a heavy snowfall warning (again, we had one a few weeks ago) expecting another 20cm by tomorrow night. I have no where left to shovel it to :roll: I'll have to post pics ;-)

Hi Amy, thanks. Yes it's crazy how many dosecreases are going on. My finger is better now :-D I poke it on a regular basis with lancets too, poor Chyna :?

Well, I'll do a before bed test to double check her, but maybe blue or green tomorrow...

Bummer, though, that you couldn't get back to sleep with your btb cat(2)_steam maybe tomorrow!

Thanks Marje...I'm not feeling very sweet right now at all so I guess it worked, on me :cry: ARGH. I guess I should be able to sleep through tonight as far as BG goes ohmygod_smile

I've planned to go shopping with mom tomorrow afternoon (since I doubt my car will get anywhere in all the snow), so I'm assuming if we are ever going to do a dive to see green again, it will be then :roll: :lol:
