OK....I admit it....I was a little nervous with the 91 this morning so grabbed a mid-cycle.....Old habits are hard to break!!

But my little China didn't disappoint me!!

Her wintertime cough is back in a big way though. She hadn't been doing too bad until the last few days. I guess the super-cold weather and the fact that the furnace is working overtime is just too much for her to take.

All in all, we're hanging in there!!!

Chris, my furnace is working overtime too. Maybe humidity is too low? Just thinking out loud here. I checked mine because my skin is very dry. It is down to a very unhealthy 14% :eek:
 
Wow. Go, China and Chris! That 91 was a bit fluffy, is all.

Our furnace is having a hard time too. Currently -8F (-22C). Walking up the street to check on the neighbour's cat was painfully cold.

I tried the humidifier several winters ago when she first started coughing....didn't help with the coughing (although I appreciated the extra humidity in the air!) The only thing I can think of is that she's allergic to something in the heating vents. She doesn't hardly ever cough unless the heat is on.

I'd love to try having the ventilation system cleaned out, but that's money I'll never have
