Interesting cycle for Bell, I really can't predict where she is going anymore. I decided to hold the 6.5 dose a little longer after last night's blue. Looks like we have more blues on her PM cycle today. Curious about any thoughts on if I should increase tomorrow or hold for another couple cycles... Bell is eating less than normal, but she usually feels a little icky when she hits blues for the first time. She is doing really well other than that - had some people over for dinner and Bell was out and about taking in all the plays and lovin.

She thinks I can't see her under there...

My previous target has been the greens, since I want to get her into remission. I don't know how likely that is now. I thought maybe letting her ease into the blues before increasing would prevent some of the extended bouncing that she had after the 12/19 and 12/22 cycles. Seems a lot more work for her to repeat those greens. The last 3 cycles have been (relatively) lower and flatter than she's had in awhile, which I'm sure is a nice break for her. I still want to push and be aggressive, though.

Until we know why she needs a higher dose, we don't know if remission is in the cards or not. I've seen remission both with cats with IAA and with acromegaly.

Letting a cat ease into blues doesn't work to reduce bouncing. Rip off that band aid and go for greens.

Lucky 7 ….
I also noticed what I thought was Minner feeling a little icky when she first started seeing blue. I was worried whether that was sign of a problem. So it’s good to know that’s been observed in others. That concern did wane as her overall demeanor shifted to more activity.

Good luck with the increase Seth and Bell. Hope it gives you nice numbers in a gentle cycle.

Glad to hear Bell was such a social girl last night. She’s so adorable and cheeky!

Good luck with the increase Seth! I love your conversations with Wendy. I learn a lot. And I admire your courage to increase. I hope this will soon be rewarded with more :D:D:D
