Baby is not having a good day today, all the ear pokes last night due to surfing low #s beginning at +2 left me testing more than I wanted to - I hate hurting the tender ears :YMSIGH: Baby HATES her eardrops that go in her right ear, they are kind of oily & as soon as I put them in & try to massage her ear to get them down in the canal, she shakes her head, the eardrops go all over her fur & the ear looks wet for hours :YMSIGH: Bless her heart. Then this morning she got into HC rice/gravy & kibble (which has never happened) I was making my bed & walked into the living room & she was licking her lips like they do after eating & then I knew. Anyway, she retreated to the closet & looks at me like "please give me a break, mom" :YMSIGH: My heart hurts for her today & I am not doing a spot check until PM shot, I am giving her a break.

Poor Baby. I agree. Give her a little break. You're a good Mommy, Nicole (even though Baby knows you're only doing what's best for her) ♥

NO CAT LIKES ANY MEDICINE PUT ANYWHERE!!! Baby has been doing well, OK so sometimes we need to do more pokes than normal.
Believe me, Moonie before she jumps to her testing spot, usually looks back to see if she can scoot out around me to escape!!! :? :cool: :? :cool:
But I know her already & I keep my leg there so she cant get by :lol: :lol: :lol:
It's them against us!!OK so give her a reprieve today--But do take a test later today just to be sure she hasnt dropped-
YOU ARE A GREAT MOMMA BEAN!!!!! Dont put yourself down! Hugs!!

They may not like it, but they know we are doing what is best for them. A break is nice, but one check wouldn't hurt. You are a great Mamabean!

Hi Nicole, Sorry to hear that it is a struggle getting the medicine in Baby's ear. But of course it would be: no one likes to have medicine! I think it's fine that you gave her ears a rest from poking today. Do you have some Neosporin creme with pain killer? I think that helps and I always put it on after the last poke of the evening so that the ear will feel better and heal more quickly.

Give Baby some gentle scritches for us, OK?

Awww, poor Baby. If it isn't ear pokes, it's nasty tickly ear drops. Tomorrow, her little ears will feel better, and you'll be forgiven.

Ahhh, the kibble/gravy/rice HC in all forms lil momma got into has cleared :-D
