12/28 Thomas AMPS 278

Unfortunately I couldn't do more tests. I will get a +2 tonight tho. Happy to see the PMPS yellow!!! Yes I cannot wait for blues and greens! Also he hasn't peed on the tile for 2 days in a row!!!!! yay!!
 
@Suzanne & Darcy He stayed yellow all day! Just did +4 (actually 4.5) and it was still yellow! I may have an issue tho and need your advise. I am leaving as soon as I get done with the AMPS tomorrow. I am leaving as early as possible so hopefully I can get back in time for his PMPS. Any advise if we are late??

You mean late for his PMPS? How late?
 
yes PMPS. I am going to try to get done as quick as I can. We are driving 2 hours and doing some things to care for my uncles house. (1 is painting the driveway) I am hoping to be home in time because he is finally leveling out it seems anyway. I hate to lose that. What if 1 hour late or 2 hour late? Anything I can do to prepare. My neighbor could come over and shoot but doesn't know how to test his glucose.
 
Does your neighbor know how to draw the correct amount? And how/where to shoot the insulin and tp do it correctly so that it would not be a muscle shot? Be sure to leave food out for him
 
Well, if you are two hours late you will just have to gradually work your way back to his normal shot time by 30 minutes per day. Hopefully it won’t affect him too much due to the depot of insulin (although his dose is small so it’s not a huge depot.). Don’t stress. He won’t be harmed, and he can get back on track. Hopefully, it will maybe be only one hour at most? But as I said, he’s mostly in yellow and he should be safe in your absence and that is the most important thing.
 
I am hoping we won’t be late at all. He seems to add things to the list as the day goes on. I just have no idea how long it will take to paint a driveway. Seems easy enough! (But then again those thoughts are always incorrect!)

Just got home. His number is 334 and he peed on the kitchen floor :(.

He is 2.5 hours late. Go ahead and shoot 1?

I thought he would he so hungry and all he want to do is cuddle, doesnt care about eating.

So if I’m thinking correctly, he was 2.5 hours late. I would shoot 2 hours latee tomorrow and 1.5 hours later the next day?
