12-27(Yesterday) Good morning! I hope everyone has a lovely day! Kitties surf safely:cool::D:cat:

Well Moey was in the lemon tree at PMPS +2.5. I didn't get up with alarm at +5 to test:banghead::oops::rolleyes:
It would've been nice to know when he came out of the lemon tree. It seems he's a little too interested in those darn lemons lately. All that extra sugar is making him "punchy" this morning. He's actively trying to assert his furry dominance on the civvies!!
At what point does one ponder fattening a dose? I said it out loud Moey...you better listen. If nadirs begin to increase into the blues(mid/high) for 3 consecutive days(6 cycles) does that warrant an increase? Or do we have to wait until nadirs are 200 and above for 3 consecutive days? Trying to determine when, is a little difficult with Moey(for me anywho). He's given me a couple of limes on this dose. So.....

On a separate topic...I'm getting the E-Z complete pre-mix today. I suppose that means the boys will start eating home cooked meals soon. Time to start calling the meat suppliers for my local grocery store. Sourcing chicken/turkey that hasn't been brined is a huge concern. I hope organic will be brine free but, unlikely. Per the label of the chicken I currently have...0% sugar but, 2%(40mg) sodium per 4oz. I'm not sure if the sodium is acceptable. Gotta do some homework.

Next agenda...ordering a light tracer/box. Any suggestions? As with anything...quality and affordability is the key:)

My kitties have had a raw diet all their life. (over 17 yrs) I never paid any attention to salt or sugar in the meat.
I only now buy Grass fed meat occasionally since I have 2 kitties that are having health problems.

Here's some interesting info about what they do to meat. https://www.motherearthnews.com/real-food/shocking-news-about-meat

Organic means the animal was not given hormones, antibiotics or man-made pesticides in its feed. The feed, however, is not necessarily grass but corn and soy.
Grass-fed meat is different in that the animal was pasture-raised. ... Note that grass-fed often is organic, but organic is not necessarily grass-fed.

Have you looked into these?

They're wonderful for - well, let's say those who need a bit more amplification with seeing the fine lines...or even between the lines. Between these goggles and calipers - it's a pretty good enhancement for seeing the unseeable.

I hope Moey gets his butt into gear soon...and tell him to stop being a meanie to the civvies...maybe he's cranky from the higher BG? I know my MIL used to be quite cranky when her 'sugar' got high...

Have a good one!
