Good morning World! Welcome to our home Last Condo

Just LOOK at those bootiful numbers this morning! Better than that big pink toad that changes to a gold crown every once in a while. He looks well but is getting more picky about foods - ARGHHHH!!! He's lost another half pound - hyperT tests in January. Anyone know how much that usually costs? Our pocketbook squeals every time we open it right now..."der's nuttin' in here...quit pullin' my chain..."

WE HAZ RAFFLE TICKETS!!! THANK YOU MARJE/GRACIE/MIKE/TOBEY/GUS! What a WONDERFUL Christmas gift that is!! We iz gonna have COOKIES!

Our family Christmas went well - no tears, a sniffle or two but no one broke down. The day before, I bought a red mylar balloon in a Star shape - tied it to the top of the tree when we got to my parent's house. When I walked in with it, my Mother didn't even have to ask what it was, she knew...and grinned. THAT grin was worth a million dollars. All my children got to be there, only one grandchild missing, even my 'greats' were there! I just HAVE to share a picture of all my kids/grandkids/greats! That's me in the green in the middle - don't miss my first 'great-grandbaby', Hagen, sitting on 'Grandpa's' shoulders! He's STILL not used to being called 'Grandpa' even after 17 months. The adult 'men' are my 'babies' - females are all in-laws, I never did get my 'girl'....that was just fine with me, I got granddaughters!

We haven't had a condo in about a week - DH is very very sick, paralysis attacks repeatedly plus he got a bad chest cold over Christmas. He never gets out so is never exposed to other germs - they LIKE to attack him. All decongestants cause his potassium to run screaming for the hills.... We got ice and snow, I won't let DH get outside so I have ALL the animal 'care'. It's beginning to melt so is really YUCKY muddy - little long haired pups get nasty dirty going outside.

BIG HUGS to all that visit today! Grab a piece of fresh made coconut cream pie with your coffee... ~O) :-D

ETA: Having problem loading pic - will update later...

Wow, KT, you are rockin' this morning! I don't know about the hyper-T test. Does he like fortiflora? Freeze-dried chicken?

What a great picture! :-D :-D :-D Did you get one of all 72? I hope DH gets to feeling better soon. That sounds just miserable. Do you run a vaporizer? That helps me with respiratory stuff. Thank you for the card, that was very sweet. :-D :-D Hugs to you, Lyresa.

Hi Lyresa,
What a great picture of your bean family! It sounds like Christmas was a good one and that the spirit of your Little Brother smiled down on the festivities. Very sorry to hear that your DH is having a hard time. Sending him a huge bunch of healing vines.

My vet does the IDEXX "snap" T4 test for Hyper-T in house, on IDEXX equipment that many vets seem to have these days. This is not a full thyroid panel, but it will reveal if Hyper-T is present, after which the "real" T4 and the free T4 can be done if the cat is positive on the "snap" version. Here the "snap" T4 costs $40. My vet does it as a matter of course as part of a yearly exam.

Wishing you and your DH, your bean family and your fur family a Happy New Year,

Hugs,

Ella & Rusty
