All good here today. Zener is watching birds out the window from a perch on Versailles (the cat condo). Anne has a feeder right outside the window and Zener just knows he could get one of those birdies if that window wasn't in the way. :lol: :lol: He has a happy appy (thanks, Deborah!). I am happy with blue this morning but I guess this ends his streak of mostly normal numbers (4.5 days). That's the best streak he's had since diagnosis so we are very pleased.

It's a sad day in LantusLand as we mourn the sudden passing of Amy's civie, Mario. He was a gentleman cat and he will always be remembered. We also mourn the sudden passing of Melanie's Smokey. No matter how long we are together, it's never long enough. Holding Amy and Melanie close. Sending mega appy and healing vines to Moonie. She and Roni are on quite the roller-coaster. Healing vines to Noni too.

Nice blue today for Zener. Not quite what you would like to see, but still really good. I bet Zener could get those birdies. Better keep the glass as a barrier. Have a great day!!

They might not be normal numbers today, but they are still very nice flat blue - way to go, Zener! Funny about the birds. We have gigantic turkey vultures that roost in our back yard most winters (fortunately they're not there this year). Our civvie, Frankie, is POSITIVE she can catch one of those, if she could just paw her way through that window! She doesn't realize that if she saw one of those things up close, it would scare the you-know-what out of her...they look so small when they're high up in the sky!

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the vines, thoughs, and prayers these past days...it is truly helping us through.

YAY for happy appy!!!! Too bad that window has to be in the way, Zener. Those birds wouldn't stand a chance!! Sorry his green streak has had a slight interruption, but those blues are still quite pretty! :-D Sad to hear about Mario & Smokey. I'm sure they are helping each other over the bridge. Zener and Rusty can work on getting back to the lagoon together. Flat blue can mean some green to come later today. :-D

Thanks for visiting us while we were largely away from the computer. Liz, you would love this snow: beautiful powder and shows no signs of letting up. Our plower was here early this morning and now (almost noon) you would hardly know it!

The day's not over! There's still room for greenies in the cycle - plenty o room! I'm always afraid turkey vultures are gonna swoop down and take Buster away - those things are huuuge!

Nice blues for Zener. Mags also lost her green streak today, but blues were okay, too! Glad for Zener's "healthy appy"! :-D I agree, there's still time for Z man to slide down to green later. Have fun in the snow, brrrrrr. I have been freezing all day here. :lol: I had three layers of tops on this morning.

Not a bad bounce recovery day for Zener! Back to greens tonight? His numbers sure have been wonderful lately.

Even though its blue that is a wonderful curve. And numbers like that are always nice!!! Stable is such a great thing and I hope Zener just continues doing well.

@Amy & TrixieCat - our bird watching kitties are ever optimistic! Yowser on the turkey vultures! We get an occasional sharp shinned hawk in our backyard picking off birds at the feeders. :shock: Keeping you and yours in our thoughts as you grieve the loss of Mario. :YMHUG:

I think that was just a little baby bounce from the 50s last night. He's looking fabulous!

@Marje - a baby bounce, what a novel idea for our Zener. :lol: And nope on the Castles, only the end of season 1 and part of season 2. :roll:
