She's liking that darned yellow floor again. Fortunately Ms P stepped up and did a decent job of bringing her down, although I am missing the lagoon these days. Nonetheless, appy is happy, she is snuggly and feisty and roly poly in the sunshine. so as far as she is concerned, all is just fine!
Been busy around the house now that the actual holiday is over. Even though that doesn't sound like a fun way to spend vacation, we both tend to be antsy and always have so much we want to do. We're slowly making headway with the basement project!
My Dad is feeling pretty good now. He was still just a little bit crash-y on Christmas, but not too bad. I'm sure the holiday stress was a factory, too.
It is so warm here these days that we actually have new tufts of onion grass growing in our yard
!! Now THIS is a winter I can get on board with!!!
Gotta get ready to head to Lowes....part of my contribution to the basement project is fixing up an our old original 1940s lower kitchen cabinet to make it look like a rustic piece of furniture. DH put bun feet on it, so now it is ready for me to paint....can't wait to get into it!
Have a great day, LL!
