We had a little oops on the LC transition yesterday. For breakfast Purrdy had his HC reduced by 25% and the LC replacement added but for lunch (at +9) and dinner he didn't have the HC reduced but got the LC 'replacement' as well - very happy kitty!

Today we have calculated each meal by weight so it will be a 50/50 of HC/LC at each meal. Tomorrow Mum has a trip to the movies after +6 then home for PMPS, out for dinner and back by +3 so we might stick to 50/50 tomorrow too. We have a clear run of Mum being at Purrdy's beck and call for at least six days after that - what a good slave

Julie - Mum is very pleased to hear that I am being too hard a task master, I told her she could have off until +5 today - but not until after she had the +2 teeheehee

Hi Serryn - it's great to see Purrdy's picture. What a cutie in the Christmas outfit.

That's quite a drop to the +2 today - that usually signals an active cycle. Maybe a +4 first? Your mom is doing great!

Thanks for looking out for us Wendy but every time Purrdy's had a +2 test he's dropped like that - about 30% - without an eventful cycle. The first time I did have poor mum get up in the middle of the night to test even though his +3 had gone up teeheehee. Seems he has an early onset.

We're sticking to 50% LC tomorrow, even though we don't seem to be seeing a change from the reduced carbs as yet, mum is going to be in and out so I'd rather be safe than sorry.
