Very difficult day since one of my mom's two cats was put to sleep this afternoon. This makes me appreciate the fact that, no matter how much I have f'd up Pumbaa's dosing, he's still alive and thriving!
Freydo, went to sleep in my arms today, with me stroking and telling him how much he was loved. I did that for him before we left for the vet, and after we got there, and after they gave him the sedative that knocked him for a loop (and made us think he had already gone), and after they gave him the final injection.
I'm still crying, because Freydo will be missed so much.
I will be a wreck when Beck's time comes. As well as Pumbaa's and Larry's. And heaven forbid about my mom's time.
I will never understand those people who can kill others and not respect life. I cry when anyone here posts that they lost a pet.
