Evening! Moonie went from not so great to Good today! This am she was low & started to drop by +2 so I started feeding mc & hc which she ate in little licks. I had to go to work today, so I started worrying as she hasnt been eating. So I syringed some hc gravy & later rubbed her gums with honey & she came up before I left!! Then she ate some FF kitten & that was great--Came home & she had eaten on her own some :mrgreen: And ate a little FF beef & Liver too :mrgreen:

Last night I had to syringe feed her, as she was on eating strike..Had to syringe even her pred pill which is a chew! I have been reducing the lactulose, as she has been pooping really well & the clog is gone!!! Today she gave me 2 poos, so I am just giving her 1 dose of 1 ml tonite before bedtime..
I know one of the side effects of lactulose is stomach cramps so I figure Moonie doesnt need that!! I remember he told me to reduce, so I am doing that now..
So she ate some chicken tonite & she ate some kitten food, & took her pred, so all is well here!!
Hope she does drop tonite, but I am ready!! I have HC & Honey & lots of mc foods!
I did shoot her tonite, so I am ready for whatever--
Glad this day ended up well & she is eating a bit again :mrgreen:

Moonie, we are so happy that you are eating better today and having good poops. Good girl!

Roni, you are doing such a great job with your girl. We hope that all of you will have a restful night and that the better eating will continue tomorrow. Do you have any snow from the big storm?

Hi Moonie, I'm really glad that you could come to the Full Cold Moon party at Camp Stu. You look beautiful in your green and blue sweater. Isn't the snow fantastic? We'll be singing our snow songs by the fire in a little while: "Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!"

OMG She pooped on her own & is eating FF kitten & FF beef & liver, of course it has to be like soup, with no chunks!! ANTIJINX ANTIJINX ANTIJINX--She is so much better tonight!! just ate some beef & liver & a few treats! I think the reduction of lactulose & her numbers coming down, plus ridding herself of the blocked poo, Praying it is all coming together!!! I will do anyhting to help her--
Think tonite I will give a minimal dose of lactulose & speak to vet tomorrow!
For Tonite I am Happpy!! Moonie can even go to the Full Moon party!!

Hi Roni, glad to hear such a good report on Moonie with the eating and poo. It does sound like all the blocked poo is out and reducing the Lactulose slowly is good, and maybe soon you won't need it and can just use Miralax maintenance, if needed. You are doing an outstanding job caring for her. Mags still has not poo'ed! Moonie's numbers are looking great. The girls were together in the Green Lagoon. Give Moonie some hugs and scritches from me and Mags.
 
I'm glad to hear Moonie is eating better and giving you poo regularly. I hope she keeps it up. Still keeping you and Moonie in my prayers.
 
Look at Moonie - now that she pooped, she is light as a feather and ready to party!

I'm so glad that Moonie was better last night. And she made it to the party. I hope the vet agrees that she can be wened off the lactulose, it sounds like that may be what is effecting her eating.
