Morning LL!! Looking at Times Square in NYC on TV--Deserted!!
We got about 2 feet of snow here in L.I.!!! Cant open my back door, up to almost my waist in a big drift!! :mrgreen:
DH is home as no way of getting in to his job!-Cats are looking out the window going WHAAAAA?? confused_cat confused_cat confused_cat
We are safe & warm here--gee another day of relaxing AHHHHH! :mrgreen: -Oh DH will be shoveling-Dont know if he can get the snow plow out even!!

Think the fur shot numbers are gone now--
Pat is still here & may fly out tomorrow if they can catch a flight, or maybe wednesday!!-Airports are closed, roads are terrible!

I'm glad to hear you're safe and warm. The storm missed us for a change. Just a little snow. Bet Pat's itching to get back to her furbabies.
 
We got about 2 feet of snow...DH cant even shovel as he was thigh high in snow trying to get up the driveway!!--Snow blower cant go through the snow , too high!! We are Stuck--My car is a lump!!
Cats dont know what to make of all this!
Oh well, Snow Day!!--
Moonie is fine, Copper I'm not sure--He hasnt been himself, may have to take him in to vet--
Hope you are all safe & snuggly!
 
Nice work on the +4 Moonie!

I remember snow days from Minnesota! Going to the store on XC skis! Fun! But better to get home and warm.

Hi Roni,

I'm sure Moonie will be feeling blue soon. We did'nt get as mush snow a you but it is still snowing and is it windy! It was quite the storm. I bet Pat is itching to get back! This storm raised havoc with travel.

My animals aren't going out either. With 5 cats and 3 dogs we are kinda on top of each other here. But we are warm and safe.

Hope copper is doing ok and you can get him to the vet when the roads clear. Sending healing vines for him. (((Copper, Roni)))

Bummer on all that snow... Poor kitties - mine never know what to do with it either. WOW: you made out news again.

OMG Cable was off, computee was off, PHONE was off!!! EEEKKK! @-)
Ok it was only a couple of hours, but I don like eeet!! All ok now--I got very tired watching DH shovel out--Snow Blower worked a little, but drifts are about 5-6 feet in some places!! Wow--we had storms like this when I was a kid!! Quite amazing :shock:
Pat will be flying out tomorrow about 5pm(paws & fingers crossed)--Luckily her DPS is great & cats are fine!

Moonie is doing nicely despite all the rukus & storms--She like ignores it--Truly the princess!!
He was better today--He is giving us a hairball almost every other day or so right now--Dont know if that's normal, he usually has one once or twice a week--
Guess all that Oil we give them works for him to bring them up--I'm watching him real carefully!
BBL--All else is well!
 
Hey Roni, I just caught your post as I was finishing this. So glad to hear that your power is back on. That is quite a storm you've been having! I hope you have all that you need for a few days in your 'fridge. It doesn't sound like you'll be able to get out easily. 5-foot drifts! In the NYC blizzard of '88 (1888, that is) there are photos showing snow up to the 2nd-story windows of houses. That much snow would bury a lot of modern houses!!
Stay warm, and I'm going to send some hairball-chucking vines and snowflakes to Copper. You do need snowflakes, don't you?

our snow pretty much all melted the last few days...it's been sunny and warm!!! :-D
but no worries in no time you guys will be basking in the sun and we'll have the snow!!! :lol: :lol: we need to take turns!!!! :lol: :lol: don't you think it's fair!!! us thick skin folks love to share it with our southern neighbours!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
