Not a bad start...
Maggie finally had a good-sized, well-formed poo last night. She's still a ways off from being "right", but making progress.
Sometimes when she smells water or a bowl of food I put in front of her she will lick her lips and turn away. I thought I'd try some Pepcid AC. @LizzieInTexas Lizzie or anyone who uses it, when do you give this? I'm doing MMR in the first meal at injection time, so no meds for 2 hrs after that. Can it be given with food, or is it supposed to be before food? Can it be mixed into food? Thanks!

when do you give this?
Here is the link where Pepcid and Zantac are covered on Tanya's site

http://felinecrf.org/appetite_loss_nausea_vomiting.htm#step_2

I would give after the 2 hour wait (MMR) and about 30 min before the next food to give it a bit of time to start workng.

I have only given each a couple of times. I hate pilling Gizmo and the MMR seems to do just as well for his stomach acid.

Can it be given with food,
You will need to pill these. They cannot be mixed in food. Very bitter and causes great frothing and foaming (trust me on this ). Even better if you have an empty capsule put the Pepcid or Zantac in the capsule and slather the capsule in butter and then use a bit of water to help it go down.

ETA-this entire page from the link has lots of good information.

YAY on the poop!
I would give it at least 30 minutes before food, perhaps 60 minutes.
I don't think I've ever had a cat froth/foam after having received it but I've only used it a minimal number of times.
