Oh thank you so much Sybil. Kona is my baby, I think about her all day and of course all parents want to show off their kids like they're the best. =) Thanks for checking on us. I wish I had more time to look at other people's posts. =(

Off for the night, be back in a few hours, maybe earlier.... I'm going to risk not putting out any snack for +1 or +2. I don't have time to lock her up in the spare bedroom, setup up feeder, water, litterbox, etc. She's pretty high right now at 271, so I think she will be fine. I'll watch her on the camera, the least I can do.

Today's Summary:
6:45am - AMPS 181
6:47am - Shot 1.0U
6:50am - Fed 1/2 can of TruLuxe Quick n Quirky (0.4%) + 1/2 can of Weruva Wx Low Phos (0.0%) + 0.25ml Nordic Naturals Omega 3 for Cats + 1/2 packet of FortiFlora Probiotic

:blackeye::facepalm: Bummer... no change at +4 from the PMPS. This must mean a late active cycle later. Hoping to see a lower number in the morning. Anything but a stinking pink!!! :arghh:

She might be headed up to a high before she clears a bounce, so don't be surprised to see a pink AMPS :nailbiting:

Her numbers are looking good though! If you can do something about that 100 point dive she does between PS and +2 in active cycles, it might reduce the bouncing.

Sorry to hijack this condo Jason. I have the same issue if that dive after PS. I’ve been told not to feed higher carbs, only use them if she’s under 50 on handheld meter. You are suggesting using a higher carb with these big drops, correct, @Bandit's Mom ? Like 9%?

Hope this info helps many of us. :)

Yes, I don't know in what context you were told not to use higher carbs - we do say not feed carbs later in the cycle since that reduces duration and causes numbers to go up. But sometimes, when you're trying to slow drops - especially early in the cycle - you might have to use higher carbs. Where you are in the cycle, how much is the drop and how carb sensitive your cat is will determine when and how much carbs you need to use to feed the curve.

:bighug: Thanks for this, higher start this morning, but I'll go ahead and put out a +1 & +2 snack with the automatic feeder for when I'm at work.
