Yesterday's Condo

(Insert colorful language here!) I overslept. Clearly, the kitties fell down on their jobs as my back-up kitty alarm clock, as well. So, Gabby's shot was 2 hours late. To make matters worse, she was sitting by the entrance to the kitchen (not so) patiently waiting for breakfast.

Gabby is clearly feeling good this morning (which makes me feel guilty because you know she was in blue numbers 2 hours ago). She finished her breakfast and then wandered over to Gizmo who was demonstrating his prowess on the scratching post. They had nose kisses and then Gabby jumped up onto the dining room table. From there, she leaped to the knee wall that separates the kitchen from the dining room so she could supervise my making coffee. She hasn't done that in quite some time. Well, let me amend that. I haven't see her over to the knee wall in quite some time. (Hmmmmm..... Now I'm really wondering what these guys are up to when I'm not home!)

:lol: Nice start for the kittie's day anyway. I feel guilty too if I oversleep or disregard the alarm, but I get over it ;-)
BTW, sleep is NOT overrated.... :cool:

Hi Sienne. An AMPS 209 isn't that bad considering she got her shot 3 hours late. She sure sounds energetic this morning. Looks like the late shot is going to effect you more than Gabby since you'll be the one rearranging your day to get her shot back on track.

Hi Sienne - I'm with Bruce .. what are they doing all day?!? I have a collection of beanie babies from year back, and sometimes I find them off the shelf and in the strangest places! Don't beat yourself up ... with a yellow like that, just pretend you had to stall :-) Have a great day and hope the extra sleep does you good. :razz:

Omitting the fact of being late for everything else....that sounds like a wonderful morning! Sleeping in, having two kitties warm, friendly and happily supervising your breakfast making and really a 209 is not a bad start to the day!

Gabby was patiently waiting for breakfast?! The worst part is she will have to wait for the next few days too. I've been looking at wireless cameras. You can check on them through a web browser. How curious are you?

Wow, I can't believe the kitties let you oversleep, for 2 hours no less! A very nice start for Gabby, despite that.

Before we adopted "the herd", and only had Mr Kitty and Mario, I swore neither of them ever got on the kitchen counters. At one point, we had 4 sponge soccer balls up there - one of Mario's favorites. One by one, the balls were disappearing. I thought DH was giving them to Mario, and he thought I was giving them out...because, you know, neither of them ever go on the counter. Well, it turns out neither of us beans was handing them out. I actually caught Mario red-pawed helping himself to the last soccer ball. People think our kitties sleep all day and night when we're watching...but I don't know, I have my doubts!

Thank you for your support these last few days, Sienne. Your kindness and generosity is so greatly appreciated....

Just curious, in case (I'm sure it will) happen to me someday... because you shot late, does that mean you'll be adjusting her dose times over the next couple of days to get back to her reg. time? (I.e., tonight's will be 11.5 hrs from shot time this morning instead of 12...)

yeah - we thought we had our cat's trained too, but I think its actually the other way around :-D
Hope Gabby does a nice slide down to those lovely greens today.

Oh no!! Bad kitty alarms!!! Maybe they need new batteries?!? :lol: Well, glad to hear that they were their usual silly selves with not a care in the world...the beans, on the other hand, have lots of cares! Hope you have a wonderful day, Sienne!

Sorry about oversleeping but you probably needed it! Isn't it funny when you need them to wake you up they don't, it is always the nights when I am exhausted that they decide to be bad kitties. Hope your day goes well! I say Gabby is blue this morning. hahah

I agree with Michelle, that is definitely a blue number fo shizzle! Hope it doesn't mess you up too much working back to your "normal" shot time. Ugh!

Well, Gabby has headed the wrong way!

I'm off work this week. If I wasn't, getting Gabby back on schedule would be painful.

i'm pretty sure you don't need a camera.. any counter, wall, chair, table you think the cats don't get on... they get on (tee hee)
