I think Doogle got a partial shot last night. We were giving him his shot and just as the DH was shooting, Doogle jumped and moved so there was some left in the syringe. At least it didnt get to high which is good. So got the full shot this morning. He is doing better it seems, so I think it is the Lantus had gone bad. Griff is better too. He is no where near as stuffed up and eating a little more. Got the viewing today for our family member that died right before Christmas and funeral tomorrow morning. It is collllllddddd here....so all the kitties are bundled up on their new beds and big pillows. I am bundled up in a comfy robe.....LOL

Glad to hear Doogle is doing better, even if he was a little jumpy last night! Silly boy! Hope his numbers start coming down soon and he starts feeling better! Stay warm and enjoy the kitty beds and warm robe!

Did you go shoot what was left in the syringe? I would think that would be ok. You don't want to draw up more insulin since you don't know how much got injected from the original dose when you suspect a fur shot. I'm glad Doogle and Griff are both feeling better. :-D My condolences for the passing of your family member. Stay warm!

We couldnt shoot what was left because the DH still had his finger on the plunger and as Doogle moved and he pulled it out he instinctively pushed down. I got showered with insulin....I smelled sooooo good....LOL. Going to go check him in 10 mins.

I know.....and the rest of the herd (except stuffy nose) smelled and looked at me like I was an invader....LOL.

Ok hoping he is gone down slightly and coming back up. Just got home from the funeral home and he was 161. I am thinking he just went down a little since +6. So looking good.

Pretty good PMPS I think. Would love to see something like this all the time. Headed for bed soon, so will update in the morning. Graveside funeral is tomorrow morning and the DH is a pallbearer. So have to get there early. Will update after we get home.
