well, good morning (lil late tho it is)!

this lazy bean turned off the alarm, so the boy's shot was an hour late.

have a great morning story to share with you:

this morning, David Quackerfield came to visit Binks (for those of you unfamiliar with David, he is a very sociable, inquisitive duck that belongs to the little girl next door)
after some chatting thru the screen door, Binks seemed fascinated and not at all freaked, so i let David in. He wandered around the house, investigating and commenting on everything he saw...and Binks kept venturing up to check him out. Then David went into the bathroom...climbed into Binksy's Breeze litterbox, and used it! This duck amazes me...what a friendly and mannerly guy. maybe the visit will get the boy's mind of his missing mousie...David left with a couple of feathers from Binks' pink feather boa...wonder what his family thought when he got home.. :lol:

and CONGRATS to Mowgli !!

Very nice +3 for a late shot. Binks has quite the social life! He seems to get along with everyone but his sisters or are they just cousins.

Oh what a funny story :lol: . And what a nice duck guest David was, today. Does he use a litter box at his house?
I think my cats would do the same. I had a friend let her cockatoo loose in my house a couple of times, and my cats were a little interested, but not overly. I guess it didn't look tasty enough.

Nice drop at +3 Binks. Keep coming down, nice and easy.

Hi Celi and Mr. Binks. I hope your holidays were good.

So what is the big deal about David Quakerfield.....we have ducks stop by our house all the time to use the bathroom. :lol:

binks...you need to be listening to Lady Dyana...nice & slow!

I'm guessing he uses the LB at home...my amazement came the day i talked to his 7 yr old kid...and found out he wasn't named Howard or Daffy...this kid reads Dickens!

also, i'm not sure, but suspect one of the comments david made was "Don't you have a vacuum?" :lol:

LB trained duck? Wow...

Binks had to be enamored....LOL...I could just picture eyes as big as baseballs as a duck wandered around the house :lol: :lol: :lol:

this 20 mins after prezzies in the LB...

yeah, the first time binks met David he freaked...so David came back with his little persian kitten in tow, like an interpreter....binks still wasnt polite.

now, i assume he's thinking..."Let those tortie girls try to hurt this guy!!" :lol:

Cute duck story! The excitment didn't seem to bother Bink's #'s any. That must have been so funny. :-D Especially the feather part.

My sentiments exactly on your group assesment on christmas day. This place is a big part of my life. And my Sara is here because of this place also.

The Peaceable Kingdom reigns! Great story, Celi. Binksy, you are the best. Stu used to coexist with our friends' cockatiel, but they were never friends (she totally ignored him). Back when we lived in Brooklyn, Alice had a squirrel friend who visited her in the backyard every day and they actually played together. Something tells me that Rusty's predator side will emerge given the opportunity!

Celi, David Quakerfield visiting you made my day!!!! That is so cool! You have to get a picture next time he comes for a visit. Your condo never ceases to amaze me :)

Soooo funny--The Earl of Duckydom really caught Binsky's eye & he likes him!!

We were polar bears today trying to dig out of our snow castle!! So crazy here..

Hahaha, love the duck story, Celi. What amazes me, is that you let him in the house in the first place. Who would guess a duck would be housebroken?

Celi, Binks has all kinds of friends!!! A mouse and a duck… he’s quite a social guy!! :-D Nice blue too..
