12/26 Yoyo AMPS 228,+2 110,+3 97,+3.5 103,+4 126,PMPS 306,+2 280,+4 185

Nice start for Yoyo. I hope he slides down and gives you some green today.
What I have noticed is that if Yoyo doesn't have food for a long period of time then his AMPS is much lower. I usually feed him around 3:30 in the morning to prevent him from vomitting. (When he gets hungry, acid builds in his tummy and he vomits). But last night I was too tired and I skipped his 3:30am feeding, (and Yes, he did vomit), but I fed him small portions this morning and he held down all his food. He was especially hungry and he ate 1 1/4 cans this morning. What I'm trying to say is that when he eats at 3:30am, it seems his AMPS's are much higher.

Replied on yesterday's thread because that the first alert I saw.

OK, that was a pretty big drop, but he is safe. Can you give him 1/6 can MC food, and check again in 20 minutes to see if that was enough to slow him down.
Let's bring in @@carfurby because she is way better than me at this. Also, we need a new thread for today, if you have not already created on.

He just ate at least 1/6 can of grilled food,MC food. I'll test soon

I'm at work and may not be able to stay on. MC food is fine. Test again in 20 to 30 minutes.
I fed MC food...thank you for responding. Rosie is with me and advising me,feel much better knowing Rosie is here with me. Sorry to bother you at work.

Me again....Yoyo is 97@+3...I fed him around 25 minutes ago 1/6 can MC food. Give him more food? And MC or L? Thanks....

He is slowing down now. I'd hold off on feeding and see if he surfs and test at +3.5. He usually nadirs around +5 or +6, so you don't want to feed too much in case you need to feed more between now and then if his numbers go down again.

I apologize for writing to you on the wrong thread. Thank you for being here and for helping us. I haven't fed Yo since giving the MC food an hour ago at +2.75

Sorry I wasn't responding. Phone trouble.

Glad Yoyo is flat now. Thanks @carfurby for responding while you were at work, and sorry that I was unable to follow through with Debra.

agreed.
Yoyo responded well to the MC food. Hope he surfs a bit in the range before going back up.
How can you tell that he responded to the MC food? He still dropped from 110 to 97. Do you feel that he would have dropped faster and more, if I had not given the MC food? Please explain when you have the time. Sorry you are having phone troubles.

He still dropped from 110 to 97.
That drop is within meter variance. I have often been told to consider 110 and 97 to basically be the same number. Then, he had that 102. Pretty flat series of numbers.

Who knows how high he would have jumped with HC food. Also, HC food stays in the system a lot longer. When I was advised to give HC food when Bailey's numbers went lower, I was also told that the HC food would keep her numbers up for a few hours and then once it has gone through the system, she could drop so there are multiple reasons to give HC food only if he drops to 68.

Hope that makes sense.

Sorry you are having phone troubles.
Thanks.
