Once again thank you for all the lovely visits yesterday. DH and I are going to run some errands today, but I hope over the next few days I can get myself caught up with everyone!
Happy appy, snuggly, spunky, feisty, and anti-jinxes. Appy is still in the mid-range of happy...although she certainly seems to feel fine otherwise (bright-eyed, perky-eared, social, and snuggly), she doesn't seem nauseated or uncomfortable, and she is asking for food, I don't feel that she's eating quite enough. Since it's been a few days since she settled into this mid-range appy, I decided to add in just a little assist-feeding to be sure she is getting enough calories. Like I said, she doesn't seem unwell...just not eating as much as I would like for too many days in a row. With any luck, she'll pop back up to the high end of the happy appy range and I can ditch the syringes.
I did make a vetty appointment for her for tomorrow...I have to admit, I'm kinda playing it by ear, though. The main reason I made it is that she's had on again/off again snuffles for a few weeks which I think could be related to her dental issues. Or maybe not. Today she's really not snuffling at all - of course. And that's how it's been going..she stops for a few days, the snuffles for a few. I keep hoping she'll stop snuffling for good. Anyway...if we can avoid the vetty stress, I'm all for it, especially since our preferred vetty isn't available until later this week. We'll see...
We survived Christmas, but it was massively stressful. Hopefully my Mom is now recovering...it was very hard on her, which in turn was very hard on me. I am worn out.
With that...time to move a bit....prayers to all.....
