Hi Everyone,
Our hearts go out to Amy tonight on the passing of dear Mario. Fly free, sweet guy!
We are back home, having beaten the approaching blizzard (8-20 inches of snow expected tonight, tomorrow, and Friday morning). Rusty was pretty high this morning (trip stress, which always appears to produce numbers that keep climbing, even when having arrived and settled in at the destination). But he came down a bit by PMPS. He had a great trip: no carsickness, interest in the passing scenery, really fine. I hope he will get back into his good groove in the next day or so.
We had a great Christmas visit with my family and now are gearing up for New Year's Eve (we throw a big party for our friends). Santa Claus and Santa Claws were both very good to us, bringing lots of good things (most of them edible). I had to go grocery shopping in Lake Placid late this afternoon after we got home and the store was mobbed, the shelves half empty. Everyone is preparing for the big storm. The check-out ladies were all excited: Governor Cuomo shopped there this afternoon!!
Going to veg out now. Maybe back later, at least with a bg number. We hope all is well in LL and thank everyone who visited Rusty while we were busy with the family.
