All is well in Punkin's world today. i switched the lancet device's tip piece (there's a clear and a solid color cover) and got a drop the first poke. i think somehow the clear cover isn't seated right and it's preventing the lancet from making complete contact. anyway, one poke was good. perhaps he's clearing that bounce from last night - we'll see what he does in the next few hours. the little guy hit 75 yesterday noon.

no plans for today - other than to finish doing the dishes that are still on the counter. the kitties are very interested in the new toys from yesterday. DH made a small cat tree for our daughter's cat, jackson. he loves it more than i would've ever thought. anya loves it too. perhaps DH will make one for our kitties next!

That's great that your DH makes cat trees. I hope he makes one for your cats, too.

I don't use an lancet device so the points and colored points are all greek to me.

Good going on that 75 yesterday, Punkin. Do again :mrgreen:

That was an exciting Christmas for Punkin! It does look like the bounce is already on the way out. I'm sure your kitties will be getting a cat tree soon, now that the test model for Jackson went over well. Have a great day Julie.

75, punkin I am totally impressed. Good job. I bet all you have to do is look at your papa bean with your sweet eyes and he'll make you a cat tree too. Have a nice, relaxing day, Julie.

My DH makes cat trees too. It makes me laugh how a storebought tree will get ignored, they would rather play with the box it came in, but one he makes is the best thing ever!

Our kitties got a new feather toy for Christmas and killed it many times last night - there are feathers everywhere today! :lol: :lol:

WOW. Punkin at 75 is very impressive. He is doing great.

Those home made cat trees are full of love. No wonder kitties like them better than store bought.

WOW! on the 75 yesterday! A lot of kitties certainly celebrated the holiday. Good catch! We need to see pix of DH's handi work! I keep sayin that I am going to build one or two for Tess.

Wow on the 75! And how nice that your DH built a cat tree for his grand-cat! My hubby built a special scratching post for our civvie, Frankie. Franke decided she liked to sink her claws into the door trim, so he built her a free-standing scratcher out of the same wood. She LOVES that thing - has nearly scratched it in half now!

:-D randa, i am happy to leave dishes for the next day. i like my counters cleaned off, but let's not be excessive! it's a holiday after all!

punkin must win some sort of Flat Boy award today. 236-241-223-243 so he's moved 20 points in the entire day. cat_pet_icon we love our boy!
