So far Max seems okay on his new BP med. I spoke with NCSU IM on the phone today and they want me to take him to my regular vet for rechecking BP, and labs 10-14 days after starting the telmisartan. That would be around January 2nd. I was hoping I could wait and get all of that done on Jan 9th at NCSU when they do his kidney ultrasound, but she stressed the importance of having all of that checked in 10-14 days (from 12-23). I’m going to try and get a first appointment of the day when I call tomorrow, they are closed today.

Thanks Carla and Diane. Yes we had a good day. He’s been a sleepy kitty today, but yesterday was loud and busy so he’s probably just catching up on his rest. I can’t blame him!
