Furball was happy & purry this morning. I added some fat to her dose this morning. I can't figure out what is going on with her numbers. She is all over the place. I keep wondering if I'm giving fur shots because the new syringes have shorter needles than the Relions I was using and I'm not used to them. I hope I can get her back on track soon.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas yesterday.

Good luck with the new dose. I hope that will get Furball back to the better numbers. It could be the syringes too, perhaps they measure differently? Sometimes the barrels can vary enough between syringes. Guess a guess... I used the shorter needles too, actually preferred them, felt I had better control on the shot.

Hi Carla and Furball!!

Hope the new dose helps! It IS a good possibility that the new syringes have a different sized barrel so the dose is different enough to cause the strange numbers. Hopefully you'll hit a good dose soon and Furball will spend more time on the lower floors!

Just curious..I know you're using the Sure Comfort syringes now...how long are the needles on those?
 
Yes, those pink AMPS numbers are so unlike Furball. Maybe the new syringes are the culprit. Sending lots of luck with the fatter dose.

It's nice to see blue for her PMPS. :cool:

They SureComfort syringes are 5/16" and the Relions are 1/2". I'm starting to get used to them.

I took Callie to the vet for a follow-up on the wound on her belly. The vet was very pleased with how it has healed. She agrees with me that I don't need to give Callie an AB any more. :)
 
YAY for blue, Furball. Keep on sliding down, please!!! What a lovely Christmas (belated) present to give your mamabean...some Christmas green. :D:D and YAY for Callie's belly healing nicely...and no more ABs!!!
