Doodles & Karen

Member Since 2015
Doodles 12/25 The boy is back to business and we'll see what he does today. Pretty sure it won't be long before I take his dose back down a bit. During the day time cycle yesterday I did steer him with gravy because of Christmas dinner and didn't want to deal with having to check him every hour.

The computer doesn't help my headache so sorry If I don't visit as much the next few days. Hope everyone has a good day after Christmas and all the kitties surf safely.

:nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting: Please be good Doodlebug!!!

Sending healing vines your way. I hope you feel better soon Karen. :bighug:

Doodles behave yourself! Now is not the time for a shark hunt :cat::rolleyes:
Hope your head feels better soon Karen!
Just noticed that there is a bunny on our deck eating the bird seed that I threw out there a while ago. Neither Boomer nor Allen have noticed it

Karen, I caught up on yesterday's tread an OUCH with the fall and knocking yourself out cold. Here's hoping you do not have a concussion and do you think you should be seen? Not to be an alarmist but head injury can morph into a more serious situation. Below taking from this link

https://www.cdc.gov/traumaticbraininjury/symptoms.html

Danger Signs in Adults
In rare cases, a dangerous blood clot may form on the brain in a person with a concussion and crowd the brain against the skull. Contact your health care professional or emergency department right away if you have any of the following danger signs after a bump, blow, or jolt to the head or body:
  • Headache that gets worse and does not go away.
  • Weakness, numbness or decreased coordination.
  • Repeated vomiting or nausea.
  • Slurred speech.
The people checking on you should take you to an emergency department right away if you:
  • Look very drowsy or cannot be awakened.
  • Have one pupil (the black part in the middle of the eye) larger than the other.
  • Have convulsions or seizures.
  • Cannot recognize people or places.
  • Are getting more and more confused, restless, or agitated.
  • Have unusual behavior.
  • Lose consciousness (a brief loss of consciousness should be taken seriously and the person should be carefully monitored).

Doodles, your timing is just so Cat-like! LOL

Get some rest today Karen.

I agree with Bobbie that is great info..... not to make light of the seriousness of concussions the symptoms sound like what us beans go through with this FD dance:p
Karen I sure hope you are able to take some time for yourself and that you feel better.
Please don't wait too long if you need to be seen by a doc. This last summer we used a silicone product on a roof and DH slipped twice and hit his head and for a brief time went unconscious. We did take him to the ER for an MRI looking for hemorrhaging and or blood clots. So I encourage you to get the MRI just to be on the safe side. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
Doodles give mama bean extra rubs and purrs:cat:

Oh Geez Louise, Karen! Am just catching up on condos, too. Bean head crashing not to fool around with. Hoping Doodles giving you lots of healing cuddles and purrs and good numbers to dash away dash away dash away all concussion effects.

Had a concussion years ago when riding my bicycle home at night. hit by a car (drunk kids driving vehicle without headlights on). Was lucky no broken bones etc butlots of bruises abrasions pain and nasty concussion. Know how it feels. Rest but no fooling around with the aches pains and concussion symptoms,ok? Vines galore for you too!

Sending more healing vines your way! I really hope that you will start to feel better soon. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Doodles, how about snuggling with your bean for a bit and keeping her some company while she's taking a nap?

Oh my, just seeing this now - sub dural hematomas can build up slowly so you are definitely not out of the woods yet
sounds like you are being watched closely but any nausea or double vision or anything warrants a CT scan -

Sorry about the injuries, hope it's just a solid hurt with no internal damage.
Headaches are normal up to a certain level, hope it's just because of the eye
and doesn't to down.

Doodle has been pretty nice for you yesterday Morning, hope this kind of
number will come back and rule the place with this dose or another :bighug:

Take care Karen, need you in good health ! :bighug:
