Yesterday's crazy condo
Now THAT's the China I know! And also the way she usually breaks a bounce! Next time someone needs an example of a dive, a bounce, and clearing a bounce, I know a good example!!...and pretty easy to remember too...Christmas Day!
Hope everyone had a blessed holiday, and that today is full of rest, recuperation or AFTER CHRISTMAS SALES!!
Have my own doctor appointment today, but it's only a mile away from home so no drama required. Love it so much better if I HAVE to go to a doctor when they're close by instead of an all day commitment like the pain clinic is.
If everything is OK with everyone later today, I've been thinking I'll take Mom's kitty over for a visit. She hasn't seen her since August 22nd and although she knows she's living in my house now and is well cared for, there's no reason she can't have an occasional visit with her real "mommy". They do allow animals in the building as long as they're on leash or being held, so I don't see any problem putting her in a carrier and taking her. Mom has a private room, so we can just close the door and let her wander if she wants to, but she's such a love bug, I hope she'll just want to sit with mom and purrrrrrrr. I think it'll do mom's soul good to have a little "Kitty therapy". She's already had to accept the rehoming of her 2 dachshunds, but there's no reason in the world she can't continue to enjoy her puddytat...and I'm sure Miss Kitty will love seeing her very own bean too! Besides, if mom continues to improve, once we get through the winter, I'd have no objection to her finding a little house nearby and then she can be close enough for me to be able to watch over her medications and her health, as well as being more independent and in control of her own life. She's always been "in control", so I know being a patient has been hard on her, so I really do hope she can come that far back.
Have a great Fursday everyone! Only 5 more days until 2014 and a brand new year, full of new opportunities, challenges, and with any luck, LOTS of OTJ kitties!
