All is well in CurryLand.
When I started this journey I was hopeful that we might be finished by Jan. 1......Silly me.
I was suppose to have an intern to train last fall when Curry was dx w/FD. She ended up breaking her leg while on a vacation and the internship was postponed until this January. So I'll be getting material ready for her, covering while my co-worker is out on leave beginning next week, preparing for the other interns and trying to put a presentation together for a conference. And I will have to change my work hours back to the usual time as well. I was fortunate that I didn't have all of this on my plate during the Fall while Curry was getting stabilized on the insulin.
Life will be a bit busier and thank goodness Curry seems to doing well. A little less drama...well, at least for now. Unfortunately, I won't be able to post as often as I would like due to the increase in work related duties that will require me to do some preparation/catch-up work at home. Ugh. I hate homework.
So I will be posting a little less, but touching base to see how everyone is doing and to give Curry updates. Just wanted to give y'all a heads-up.
And I just wanted to take this time to say thank you for all the wonderful support here. You all have special place in my heart and I couldn't have done it without each and every one of you.
Any congrats to Michelle on becoming a grandmother. And still keeping my paws crossed for Jill and Alex.
