OTJ Trial Day 8 AMBG 104

Boomer is doing ok! Yesterday he found his wrapped present under the tree and made a bit of an attempt to open it but gave up. When I got up this morning he was laying under the tree and his present was right beside him. He was allowed to be the first to open a present and it was a new Nanner! Santa Kitty also brought him some jingly balls, a catnip fish, and a toy with dangling strings which he and I played with briefly. The excitement of Christmas wore him out and he's sound asleep on his desk now.

Hopefully the turkey later will wet his appetite and, unlike other years, he will be allowed as much as he wants.

Merry Christmas Judy, Boomer, and DH. Boomer is looking good. Glad to hear he is doing some playing. :)

A PSA for others, many turkeys (aka Butterball) are brined, which means soaked in water salt, and sugar! They are not low carb. Fresh organic ones are good for us and our kitties.
 
How precious! Love the photos of Boomer and his gifts! I would have gotten Luci some gifts but right now I'm trying to encourage her to be still...although I'm failing miserably at that...I guess I should get out her 'feather on a string' and let her jump around...LOL!
