For some reason, I can't find Trix's condo from yesterday on the old board - it's probably right in front of me, but I'm not seeing it. There's nothing terribly relevant in it anyway. It's going to take a while to get used to this new format!!
I am thoroughly shocked and dismayed by that +4.5 reading. I did test a second time, just in case it was the test strip...got a 219 That time. While she has given me some less-than-desirable "PS" numbers, she has always brought herself down after eating - sometimes more than others, but always down, not up. I just don't know what to think of this.
I am beginning to wonder if either Fancy Feast or Purina One changed a formula so they aren't as LC as they used to be. I'd like to experiment by eliminating one or the other, but she eats so much better when I offer her both, one right after the other. There aren't any other LC foods that she cares for, I don't want to give her any fish flavors, and I'm so afraid of changing anything since it took so much work to get her feeling good after the p-titis.
Trix, however, is has happy, bright-eyed, feisty, and spunky as can be. She's not drinking or peeing excessively, her fur is soft and shiny, she's eating well with no LB issues, she's snuggly...the whole nine yards. I just don't know....
She's due for a BP check and some level of BW just after the new year.
I've been shifting Trix's med times an hour a day for the last few days, so that I had to get up at 4:00 this morning, and will have to do the same tomorrow, to accommodate family festivities. Maybe that has thrown her numbers off somehow??? ARGH!
We are officially on vacation now! We have lots of plans to get some stuff in order around the house...continuing the basement remodel, getting rid of junk in general, etc. I still have to wrap all the presents and do some cooking, too...we do a buffet at my parents' for Christmas dinner, and we do a traditional Ukrainian feast (pierogies - YUM!) at my in-laws this evening.
My Dad is pretty much on the other side of his chemo crash and is feeling pretty good now.
I'd better get myself moving. Have a great day, LL!
