all is well in Punkin Land! we brought in some catnip that was drying in the garage and he's had a lovely time rolling and munching on it. he got down to 125 last night, so i'm guessing he's got a tiny bounce going that's already nearly cleared. i was so happy to see him in blues so much yesterday.

the kids are cooking away in the kitchen, making an enormous mess. the youngest daughter made truffles last night that were in the fridge and freezer on every available cookie sheet overnight. the son (middle child) is right now making rum balls with a couple of friends. how much you want to bet he's extra "generous" with the rum? :lol: he's 23. and the eldest daughter has challah bread in loaves having its final rising. our foster daughter has gone to spend the day with family in eugene.

wishing all of you a happy holidays/merry christmas! we've got 5 family members coming just for dinner tomorrow so i may not be on much then. i hope everyone has a good holiday, free of family drama or worries about your kitters!

Merry Catmus, punkin! You have been a very good boy this year. Enjoy your catnip. Thats the best present a kitty could get. Great idea to give your daughter the fixins for sack lunches.

i have to stop thinking i might know what's going on. ohmygod_smile 293? punkin 293? *sighs* oh well. what goes up will come down.

in the meantime, i couldn't wait til tomorrow to give the good little kitters the present i bought for them. we got one of those thingies that has a mouse moving in a circle on a battery operated circle underneath a cover. so it looks like a mouse running in a circle. they all watched it with great interest. punkin put his foot on the cover so the mouse was running against it. but no one else actually tried to pounce on it. that's ok, it was fun. i got about a minute video of it that i'll upload later.
 
I got that same toy for my gang! Haven't given it to them yet, tho. I'll wait til family leaves tomorrow so they can be free to come out and enjoy! Merry Christmas!
 
Merry Christmas everyone! It sounds so delightful in your household - all that cooking an baking and together time. YAY!

Punkin looks great - hope the mini bounce is history by morning.
