Merry Christmas Eve!!!

I was so happy when Osha dipped her paws in the lagoon last night.

My heart sunk this morning with the pink amps. Then I saw why it was pink. Osha was a naughty kitty.
I already have baby locks on all my cabinets that have food in them to keep her out. I have lived her 14 years and Osha found something I never knew about. The two cabinets in the corner above the kitchen counter have a tiny opening at the bottom of the cabinet where there meet in the corner. I guess the builders didn't care that the wood they used wasn't quite the right size. I had bought a bag of tortilla chips yesterday and they were back in the corner of that cabinet. Osha must have gotten on the counter and pulled at the bag until it opened and several tortilla chips came spilling out. I found chips all over the counter this morning.:banghead:

Fingers and paws crossed she can make her way back into the lagoon tonight.

I don't really have any plans for today. I may try to get my mom to come with me to the pet store today. I forgot to get Mylon (my hamster) a treat for the pets Christmas stocking.

Have a good day everyone.

Osha, you better hope that Santa Paws was too busy getting ready for the big day to see what you did! ...I have to admit though that that really made laugh. It's something that my dogs would do too in a heartbeat, but I have never had a cat that is so obsessed with food.

I'm sorry, but I had to laugh. It's good to see Osha coming back down so quickly. I hope you can get your mom to go out with you. How is she doing?

Thanks Carla. I was just happy there was an explanation for the stinky pink!!

Mom is doing better. Her spine pain is gone, but she has a rib that is popped out and is not in the correct spot. The doc put it back, but it came right back out. They said it is because her muscles are so weak that it can't hold it in. She has been really good the last few days doing her exercises to build up the muscle again. She sat up for almost the whole day yesterday!! It's so wonderful to see her in a position other than lying down! I need to get her walking around more, so I hope she will be up for the trip to the pet store. Thank you for keeping her in your thoughts and prayers.:)

I'm glad your mom is showing some improvement. I hope she can strengthen the muscles so the rib stays in place. Sending prayers.

Osha sounds just like Jack, if there is food, they WILL find it. Good to see a lagoon visit, and as crummy as the chip attack is, at least there is a solid reason for the higher numbers. Nothing worse then wondering why with mysterious jumps in BG. Hopefully it gets out of her system soon.

Good news on Mom, progress, even slow progress is always good to hear!

Nice to see Osha is going back down, this sounds more logical then unexpected
climb. Wish you a merry Christmas eve Lesly.

Osha, back down please, you can do it !

I love hearing what kitties like as contraband. Neko liked bread products, of course wheat didn't agree with her.

Nice blue recovery.
