12/24 LOOSE LIPS: Merry Christmas Eve!

Good Morning LL (LOTS! I just love ), and Happy TUNA Tuesday! and MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE!!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP, kitteh barista pilot!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is TUNA TUESDAY!!! In honor of Tuna Tuesday, once again Lola and Bug, aka Paw Prints Pizza, will make their famous triple tuna pies, with tuna and nip infused crust, tuna toppings, and now triple tuna infused cheese. YUMMMMMMMM! It's tradition!, and these pizza pies totally rock! and they all look like Christmas trees! MEGA COOL! As a side benefit we have TUNA WATER too! so. well. anyways. Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized oranges and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are really good today too! OH! And orange infused eggnogs!

I hope everyone had a great Monday. Mine was great. It ended up being a let the day evolve day. I really, for once, didn't do much..... breffis, present wrapping, some outdoor time,and a killer sunset. I cannot believe that Christmas day, and Nicholas's 3rd Birthday is tomorrow! It will be bedlam here, good bedlam. SO... I am glad that yesterday was as laid back as it was. Here's what I wrote last night about the day: "Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. I blinked and mine was gone. :lol: and I'm not too sure what I did with it. :lol: :lol: It's Ok though, it was nice and quiet and peaceful before the wonderful bedlam that Christmas will bring. I wrapped what gifts I have, decided that it would be better just to buy a birthday cake for Nicholas's birthday, so went and got that. I have enough to do tomorrow without throwing baking into the mix so... off I went. I get the thing home, a glorious chocolate cake with chocolaty frosting, with these really nice poinsettias for decoration, set it on the counter and went to take care of some online stuff. About 15 minutes later I hear this ruckus in the kitchen. There is Lola sitting on top of the cake box trying to open it. O.M.G.! Chew chew chew.... :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :lol: Thank gawd that the box held. :roll: :roll: :roll: I had also bought some cimmamum rolls, cuz well... they looked so good! So 20 minutes after the cake episode she's in there batting the rolls around. :-x :lol: Guess she likes cake, and cimmamum rolls. HAHA. LOLA, we all luv ya but seriously? NIcholas's cake????? We had such an odd assortment of weather today. Windy this morning, foggy and drizzly. About 1 or so this monsoon blows through, followed about 30 minutes later with the bluest of skies. I headed on out at that point, hiked the upper trails here, wound the afternoon up with the sunset off of Picnic Point. That was really pretty. Very windy down there but pretty.

Normalcy in MusketeerVille! The kitties were good kitties yesterday - even Lola. Fancy that! Well, normal Lola. The tree is still standing! I am elated. She did make several trips up the middle yesterday afternoon, hopped around on a few branches before she flew, yes flew, on out from the middle, with one of her new "toys" in her clenched teeth. :shock: :lol: :lol: My poor ornaments. I had to go on a retrieval mission yesterday - she had about a dozen of them stashed around the base of the tree. "MINE" was the battle cry! :lol: :lol: I have to sit and laugh every time she goes up that tree, as she just flies up that stalk, no slow climb, it is like catapult.... and when the tree starts to sway it is hold my breath that it doesn't fall. Bug spent alot of time watching her yesterday. :shock: Every now and then an ornament would fly out of the middle of the tree, courtesy of Miss Lola, and off he'd go to play with it. Lola's making sure he is entertained. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: And where is Elsa when all this is going on? smart girl! she is napping, at the other end of the house. :lol: :lol: well yes indeed: Normalcy in MusketeerVille! Such fun times! What will we do when we no longer have this tree to entertain us. :shock:

Have a great day everyone. Today is the "final push" day here - cooking to do to be ready for tomorrow. I am so glad that Lola didn't totally trash Nicholas's cake so I don't have to bake too. phew! :lol: :lol: I also will be going to Erin's house, my DD and Nicholas's mom, to help her put up his birthday present from me. He loves trains, so I got his this wall mural - it is 8 feet long, by 4/5 feet high, of a train, engine and all, traveling though/along a hillside. It is really cool, so we will place that on his wall this morning. A day earlier than his actual birthday, but that is OK. I so hope he likes it. Paws crossed.

I didn't know Nicholas' birthday is Christmas Day! Extra busy special day Love the train mural idea. That is such a cool gift! I'm certain he's going to just love it!

Holy Lola! Get away from the baked goods! Sheesh :lol: I still have to bake today. DH polished off the original baking last week :roll: And I have heard about it regularly since then :lol: I think more shortbreads and some cranberry/orange rolls today.

Morning Kim YUPP! Nicholas is a Christmas baby. Crazy, but really kinda cool. We will be more than busy tomorrow, just trying to make sure that the birthday doesn't get lost amongst Christmas. ;-) THX on the mural, I think it is too. I did something similar in the room he uses here when he needs a bed etc. He really likes that, so hopefully it will go over well in his own space at home. THAT LOLA! I really couldn't believe that she thought the cake said "this belongs to Lola" on it. sheshhhh! So far today she has left it alone... :roll: OOOOOOOOOOO! on your baking! cranberry orange. I love that combo. DH will be one happy dude. THX too on the birthday wishes for Nicholas. I will be sure to pass them along.

Morning everyone! What a nice start today... is on board, the cake is still safe, AND (!!) the tree remains standing.

Hi Pam many thanks on the pics. it was such a great afternoon weather wise, and the sky cooperated to the fullest. I do believe so on Lola: nothing is off limits to her. She owns this place, ya know. She did from the very first day we brought her and Bug home from the shelter. THX on Nicholas's present. I think he will too. It will be a great addition to his room.

Hi Jane I will be sure to tell Nicholas happy Birthday from the LL crew. It's funny though he has as many connections here, and on FB, as he does in his everyday "real life". I so hope on the mural. It will add alot to his living space, so really hope it goes over well. And big YES on lucky to have saved the cake. O.M.G. :shock: I so know on the carbs. :roll: I will never forget the day, it was a birthday celebration here, and I left the cake out without thinking. I came back later in the day to find Mannie with his face buried in it, chomping away. :lol: :lol: :lol: He was a big frosting fan. I can remember saying: " MANNIE! YOUR BG!!!!' He just looked at me, and continued eating. Mean mamabean took it away. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Hi everyone - YAY!!!! Cooking is done! and the cake is still in one piece, AND the tree is still standing! My daughter and I got the train mural up just fine - these wall decals are so easy to do. I will post some photos in tomorrows condo. In the meantime - it is on FB, on my page, if any of you do FB and want to see it, Erin posted it. We have an other sunny afternoon, with some clouds so I am off to hopefully catch another killer sunset tonight at Picnic Point. SWEET!

I just about came unglued when I found her on top of the cake box. shesshhhh! :shock: I think John would like this mural - check out my FB, my page and you will see it. Erin took the pic, and it kinda shows what it is like. WallMonkeys sells them - and they have HUNDREDS to choose from! YAY for Tess! That is so Mannie - he knew the minute they were in the house. it is one of my fondest memories of him. You may have to give them out early. Mannie alwyas found his too. and then he hoarded them all, even BJ's and Elsa's! OH HAHA on the ornament found on the street - that Lola! She's got a great arm doesn't she! :lol: :lol: :lol:
