Merry Christmas Eve! Busy busy busy with family here. Leo has had some nice stretches of numbers, but mainly due to his lack of appetite with thunderstorms and guests making noise. He did nicely last night, and based on his history, I shot him low. Looks like I should have stalled longer. We are supposed to leave for Christmas eve at relatives in an hour or so ... I will be taking a separate car. I was anxious to shoot him so I could get +3 breakfast down in person instead of the feeder so he would eat it. This could be a while. Crap crap crap. I'm supposed to start cooking for about 15 people in about 2-3 hours.

I hope everyone is happy, has shopping and everything done, and has a wonderful holiday!!! Santa is coming in ONE MORE SLEEP!

It looks like you may not be leaving for a bit. Since he earned his dosecrease, you can go ahead and abort the cycle with high carb food, but with that 36 at +1.2, it might take awhile to do. Even if he goes higher for a bit, he may still come down. Can you start any of the food from home?

Oh my gosh....Leo go back up into the safe greens so Mom can relax and enjoy the holiday! Dear oh dear I know just what you mean when you say crap crap crap! In fact I think it's in my spreadsheet somewhere! Hang in there! Glad you are able to stay behind and make sure Leo's safe. Hoping he starts to surf soon!

Glad you caught that number, Lisa. Can you take him with you? My concern....which is probably the same as yours...is if you HC him, it will wear off while you're gone. If you know he will reliably eat from the auto feeder since it will be quiet and he'll be alone, if you get him up safely, you can leave him a MC or even a HC food in his feeder.

Hi Dyana - yeah, looks like I am here for a while. I already aborted. He only went up 4 points after .3ml honey and 30 minutes. How much honey/karo would you shoot at one time? Is .3ml reasonable volume wise? I am home now and will be staying home for a while, and had already planned to come back around nadir to check him. Relatives are only 20 minutes away.

Macal (what's your name? :-) ) I sure hope so! LOL on the crap crap crap! I figure I may as well put my real feelings in there for reference and "posterity"! Thank you for your wishes for Leo's safety. He's not interested in food.

HI Marje - Yeah, I suspected he might do this - if he drops, he does so pretty quickly. It looked like he was doing his double long cycles and would be running back up the colors. Ooops. I am feeding honey right now to get him up because it is so early. He will not eat reliably from the feeder, period. How long should I pure honey him and when to wean him to HC? I am really worried about his lack of appetite. Will honey/karo "spoil" his appetite like food will?

Sorry Leo's appetite is lacking....how frustrating! Too new for suggestions but I am watching what you do in case we have an emergency like this sometime and hoping Leo pulls out of this dive in short order.

(I'll sign my posts from now on so people know who I am....didn't think of that when making the login name!)

I like Marge's idea, best. Can you take him with you, and put him in a guest room or something? He'll probably come up if you do that.
It's just so early in the cycle. I'm afraid you'll be battling this for awhile. Just like a cat to do this when you have plans.

PMPS HI

Well, what a day. Dragging a 36 this morning, and starting the evening over 600. Sigh.

Great Christmas Even dinner with family. I took Leo with me. He barfed on arrival, ate nothing all day except all the honey I syringed into him. We are all home safe and sound. Knowing him, he'll drag green before morning ohmygod_smile

Oh goodness Leo. I'm sorry for the pukus but I'm so happy you had a good day with family. Maybe tomorrow will be quiet and he'll recover.

No complaining on Neko's red bounce after seeing what a spectacular day Leo has had. Whew! My hat's off to you Lisa. I hope you get to relax some tomorrow.
