HAPPY SANTA EVE, LANTUS LAND!

The day we first logged on to the FDMB, we were welcomed with open arms by this absolutely peerless community.
And from that moment on, you have been such an important part of our lives.
You have made us laugh, you have made us cry. You walked beside us and guided our faltering and fearful steps on what became a
surprisingly rewarding and wonderful journey (sometimes jogging, sometimes slogging...and often skipping merrily) through the forest of FD.

And you have shared with us a very special bond of the heart...the kind of compassion and love that needs no 'reason' for being...
it just IS.

so Binks, Smudge, Annie, and I offer you this song as our way to express our feelings for you.
Written and performed by my brother's employer- the late, great Peter Allen...it was originally an AIDS tribute-
but is so very fitting for our Lantus Family and the commitment we all share for our loved ones through adversity.
(and one of my favorite lyrics in the world is in this song...love don't need a reason, and love is never a crime")

and the verse so fitting for this board:

she's back at the nursing home...
we'll let her rest today (and nap a little ourselves)...
and bring her home for awhile tomorrow!

Ann is right, Celi, it is WE who have benefited from your presence here. We ALL lubs you and Binks, Annie, Smudge, Tam, and yes, even the uni-mommer :lol: She HAS to be wonderful to have produced YOU! Great news on Tam, so happy she is recovering and will be able to come for a bit tomorrow. Have a wonderful holiday!

I think there is more to this Celi woman than we all know! A brother who worked with Peter Allen. (I suspect it was a toss up between posting "Love Doesn't Need a Reason" and "I Go to Rio.")

Another great Condo. Thanks for the boost you provide in LL. Hope you have a Fantastic, Wonderful Christmas. I'm sure Tam will enjoy being home for a little while.

Have a lovely Christmas filled with joy, laughter and love, Celi & Gang. You certainly deserve it, the way you bring such joy and laughter to those of us on FDMB with those pix you post everyday. It is uncanny the way you know exactly what pic to post in someone's condo any time they need some comfort and joy.
